Papers, Please

I used to watch a lot of gameplay on this so I decided to finally play it for myself The gameplay is great. It gets a little boring at times but changes more than enough over the 31 days for me to really enjoy it. I liked how some rules that were added one day were instantly replaced the next, then followed up by a modified version of it a few days later which feels pretty realistic. The atmosphere and music is also great. It's a little simplistic but fits the game perfectly without going overboard and got me really grounded into the story. The combination of the work stuff and family stuff really got me immersed. By far the best part of this game is its story. The overarching story in the revolution is great, but by far my favorite part was the little sub-plots in between the cracks of the larger stories that spanned over only a few days. It made it feel like the story was a lot more real with characters that I was actually affecting. Overall a 9/10 game for me. Absolutely worth a pickup at full price and an even better one if on sale.

It created a genre, and it's still arguably the best of said genre. No notes. It's just as good as you've heard.
