Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 23.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Boring af
★★★★★

✦ 𝟓/𝟓 ✦

Glory to Arstotzka.
◆ Papers, Please is proof that you don't need fancy graphics or a massive open world to make an incredible game. It's simple, relatively short and repetitive by design, yet somehow I found myself completely hooked. ◆ Checking documents, keeping up with constantly changing rules, stamping passports and deciding who gets through the border is ridiculously satisfying. What starts as a simple routine quickly becomes much more complicated when you have to deal with morally difficult choices. Do you follow the rules and serve the totalitarian state, or secretly help the people trying to fight against it? ◆ The minimalist presentation actually works perfectly here. Everything feels cold, bureaucratic and deliberately mundane, which makes the increasingly difficult decisions hit even harder. There's something strangely satisfying about spending your day looking for tiny discrepancies in documents while knowing that one wrong decision can have serious consequences. ◆ Sure, the gameplay loop is repetitive, but that's kind of the point. The game takes an incredibly simple mechanic and squeezes a great amount of tension, atmosphere and moral ambiguity out of it. ✦ A tiny game with a ridiculously big personality. Simple, addictive and surprisingly thought-provoking. Now excuse me, I have some passports to stamp.
GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA!
“Internet so great no need for ID or facial scan right?” Hello, little potato man You're the one that always causes trouble See, you've, like, fake tickets, don't ya? That's bad, that's bad (That's bad, that's bad) He got shot! No! Little potato man, you were always my favorite (Aah!)
