Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 23.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

hi jorji

UNICO, ORIGINAL, ENTRETENIDO. UNA JOYITA.
Played this game over a decade ago when it came out; on revisit, it holds up well and makes apparent why it was such a touchstone for "games as art" and the dystopian genre as a whole. Papers, Please is not a particularly enjoyable game nor intends to be one. Papers, Please is instead worth celebrating as the masterful execution of an idea. Gameplay is monotonous, claustrophobic, bureaucratic, and paranoia inducing. If you give yourself away to it you feel ground down by the atmosphere it cultivates and trapped in a system beyond influence of the modicum of power that you are given. Things happen to you in the game and you consistently lack agency beyond the ability to strip agency away from others. The small and large injustices you are forced to perpetuate surprise and provide impossible choices filled with contradictions. The brutalist and minimalist art, sound, and fundamental gameplay loop all work in service of supporting the atmospherics of a prison of banality and dehumanization. Regardless of how much you "succeed" in the game you leave stained and corrupted. If a game as a think piece is compelling to you, this remains one of the best.
有点顶不住了这游戏怎么跟我上一份工的内容一模一样,这太上班了 挺喜欢美术和UI设计,刚玩一点隐约能感受到剧情线的发展,这样推进的方式好像也很有趣……但是真的太上班了!
i can just work for money guys instead of paying to do this?
It is super fun and almost addictive. You get so in to it and after a while youre working so smooth and fast and it just so much fun
sometimes, it doesn't need to be complex in design. Complex for you? yes, dunno what the MOA are up to making my life so hard. But the game itself? it's pretty simple, but for what it does, it does really well.
