地图上移动回血的Regenerate(CD 5次击杀) 3.
I like dice games, especially if the dice have cool custom sides instead of just numbers. But this is just an Engrish-heavy mess with boring, simplistic gameplay. The only amusing thing here are some of the more breathtakingly bad design choices, like how the starter character has an ability that reveals the enemies for THREE SECONDS IN REAL TIME in a TURN-BASED GAME.
I enjoyed this a lot for the first few hours. It's simple and repetitive dungeon crawling and extra characters and modes take too long to unlock, but it was a nice relaxing casual RPG. The longer I played, however, the more bugs kept popping up, from the funny but inconsequential (characters getting duplicated, wrong graphics showing for status effects) to the frustrating (all inventory items becoming unusable until I saved and reloaded, characters "floating" a square above the one they were supposed to be on) to the infuriating (UI not responding to any clicks at all, requiring a force quit, which reset several hours of progress in rogue mode). Now I'm just kind of annoyed that I sunk so much time into a game I can't finish.
Sadly, this game is just shallow. Most RPG's live on progress, here progress is reset each level. Loot? There is nothing useful. You do carry potions and spells over, but that's fairly uninteresting. The gameplay literally consists out of going down enemies one by one (from 1 to 2 to 3) and then rolling virtual dice. I can say games like Knights of Pen and Paper can make virutal dice rolling fun, but not this one. It's boring, repetitive and you wish it would go faster. Sadly, that's really the only gameplay, so you're left with... nothing. The really only "progressive" item are... other dice. Considering rolling is so bland and boring as is, having different dice is hardly going to make a change. They may make you more effective against enemy X or have stuff, but the point is... you really don't care. And when all that the game has going for it is also the part that's dragging on and you want done with, you know this is a game best avoided, and generally not fun to play. Bonus for having gamebreaking bugs aplenty for something so devoid of actual depth or purpose. HOW?
Очень не понравилось и в который раз убеждаюсь - не стоит брать игры в раннем доступе. besides NOt being ugly there is NOt much anything else to it ;( not really at all ;(( p.s. i do DESPISE when zero RPG element game has a rpg tag to it that i DO !!, HELL i can even call Prince of Persia from 80's super complex rpg game compared to these NONrpg games with "rpg" tag that i can ...
I really wanted to like this game, but there are simply too many quality of life issues to overlook for a game with such a limited scope of gameplay. I always try to be sympathetic to indie devs, and I could overlook quite a few of these QoL issues if there was a genuine sense of progression as one moved from one level to the next. But the gameplay is such that you are for all intents and purposes playing the same level over and over. The cosmetics change, but that's about it. Without the gratification of becoming more powerful or gaining loot that really matters, it just feels like a Skinner box of futility. A shame. The concept has potential, but falls short in execution. And it's not worth anything close to the regular asking price.
Board game that will make you bored. Roguelike with some campaigns to begin with. Move one tile at time, roll dice during battle and watch the outcome. Tedious gameplay to be honest. Die instantly and repeat the stage. Better play Popup Dungeon.
