Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
I have gotten good value for my money even if I were to stop playing immediately. This is especially true since I got it half off. The game reminds me a lot of playing with miniatures, paying points to buy your forces. That isn't a bad thing. You do need to suspend your belief somewhat. This is hardly an accurate depiction of battles. But what it does do well is show the reason why combined arms is so important. The learning curve can be a little rough in the campaign. The tutorial and the first two campaign missions don't really prepare you for getting thrown into the deep end in the 3rd mission (Norway North or South).
For 7,99€ its a 10/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great improvements to deepen the strategic depth compared with the original. Good UI and some replayability due to branches in campaign tree and varying difficulty settings which can be individually tweaked,
Amazing hex tactics game, allows for a lot of variety in terms of playstyles and personal challenges. Only big problem is horrible optimalisation, but if you have good parameters on your PC i would very much recommend the game.

I could not get this to run. Under policy it leaves little time to work on making it work before losing the ability to get a refund.

Been playing since the original days of Panzer General on console, then PG and Allied General on desktop. It's yet another great iteration of a classic.
The AI and vocabulary is reminiscent of SSI's Panzer General2. An example if a unit is isolated it will be hammered. The slots system is straight from Slitherine's Order of Battle WW2. The graphics are far better than both, so PC2 is the logical successor to both. Looking forward to using the editor.
