About

Choose your side in an up to 4v4 voice controlled battle between the sorcerers and warlocks or challenge your rival to a 1v1 in the Mage Colosseum
Channel your voice to cast fireballs, shoot frostbolts, conjure wormholes, and fire arcane blasts to vanquish your foes by speaking the correct words.

For thousands of years sorcerers and warlocks have waged war for the title of supremacy in the arcane arts. Now, it is your turn to enter the fray.
Overseen by The Goblin Archmagus, this battle will take place inside of the Mage Arena. The Mage Arena is an ever changing island, filled with fantastical landscapes to explore.
Utilize the resources of the land to craft useful items to gain an edge over your opponents.
In order to claim victory, you must infiltrate your opponents base and capture their flag pole. Once captured the Goblin Archmagus will deem them unworthy of resurrection, meaning once you eliminate each member of the opposing team, victory is yours.
Fun for 30 Minutes, Then Never Again
Don't get me wrong... the core idea behind this party game is absolutely fantastic. It is genuinely hilarious for about 5 minutes just watching everyone blast each other in the head with spells. The Problem: Sadly, the developer just didn't stick with it. This concept definitely could have evolved into something huge. Instead, it feels like it was just half-heartedly pushed out with crossed fingers. What a massive shame. We laughed our heads off for exactly 30 minutes, turned it off, and literally never launched it again.

The Verdict: Great concept, but poorly executed and abandoned too early. Not recommended.
Mage Arena is one of those games you randomly play with your bros at 3 AM and end up laughing even in your dreams. It has a great magic combat system and is genuinely something you won't regret playing. Sadly, I can barely play it anymore. No matter what I do, the game crashes every time I try to join a lobby, if you can even find one, since it seems to have been abandoned by its own playerbase. The game has seen basically no meaningful updates in over a year. It feels abandoned and left to collect dust. It had so much potential, but in the end it was wasted by a lazy developer. My guidance ends here, walk the path well and guard your spirit stones until the heavens bring you together with Nanashixy’s next heavenly scripture

I do not recommend this game since developer do not hold up to his promises, game was suposed to be in beta for 3-6 months but already a whole year has passed. Also they promised to release Mage arena 2 but then deleted that post. Mostly this review was created due to inability to play this game whenever I try to connect to friends. It just crashes and makes my pc lag so much that I have to restart it. Its a shame that I literally wasted my money and can't get it back bc game doesn't work for me anymore.
dev officially cancelled all updates and will remain in its current, half baked state
