Now, the denizens of Terminus must uncover the mysteries of their past and unlock the silenced power of their gods. For war will come again. And this time the dragons won’t be there to save you.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a decent enough 'old school' MMO with WoW-caliber graphics and a difficulty curve that rivals classic Everquest. I stuck with it through some initial bugs and a relative lack of content then lost my only character's name in a server merge after being unable to login for about a day following the launch patch. Definitely not worth the upcoming monthly subscription cost at this point. If you're looking to recapture that vintage MMO experience, there are better alternatives out there.
Runs poorly and changing the settings has no effect on system usage amounts. Wish I could play it, but ever since the move to the recent engine it's been a slideshow. Even if I could play it the player count is too low for a game that requires grouping to level.

Classic vibes
This has potential - just does not feel polished at all. While it is trying to model itself from a generally difficult game - the combat does not feel as polished as even EQ original. Maybe in a year or two it can be as good as a 30 year old game...
It's like Everquest only newer. So far it's enjoyable.
Has a very classic MMO feeling but with better mechanics. Great for people that like to have important roles and heavy focus on teamwork to progress.
This was really fun until I hit level 5. A tutorial window popped up explaining something, but when I leveled a super strong type of skeleton that have never once appeared where I was standing (I'd been grinding this spot for a good 5 minutes) spawned and killed me in 3 hits before I could finish reading it. Then that window got replaced with another one, this one explaining the nail in the coffin: You drop your entire inventory on death, including the mats to summon my damn pet, and LOSE XP and can even LOSE A LEVEL!!!! What the actual dogwater is this? There's no map of any sort, which is already lame as F, but now I have to corpse run with no pet? What happens when I reach max level and die, do I just lose a dozen hours of progress? I'm a 90s kid, so I'm familiar with difficult games and enjoy a challenge, but there are reasons some designs stayed in the past century. Maybe some masochists get off on this type of garbage, but I'd play OSRS if I wanted to be miserable. No thanks, GG go next.
Constant "Failed Steam Login"; I have fiber internet with zero issues. I see streamers going nonstop with no issues, same server. Wipe before release, so done for now
i have hope in this game and enjoy the old school eq vibes
