Ужасная и отвратительная игра.
The game reminds me of an old ps1 or n64 game. It is a short game, with a few enemys and different typs of weapons and levels. There are a few secrets to find. Game is free, so u can give it a try. Save often, because the game can crash from time to time.
The Pain of Pain of War (2017)
In reality the pain for many who chose to play this free game on Steam will be the knowledge that many of the achievements will be unlockable (about 10-11) unless they purchase the DLC which currently totals $4.45. Not that the DLC will give you anything really extra, as you can still play the entire game without purchasing it by locating the game in your local files and playing it direct, running it as administrator. The game was made using FPSC and as many of you would already be aware, that archaic programme is notorious for crashing and conflicting with operating software and assortment of other software. So as normal practice would dictate, it becomes necessary to save game files constantly at the start of a level and again just before you exit a level in the hopes of the next level load being successful. This is crucial especially for Chapter 1 which seems to be the dickiest of them all. Chapter 1 has 4 levels and on the 4th level you will not be able to save on it at all, as it will automatically crash if you try to do so. There are 3 Chapters in the game with each supporting a number of levels. Then there is Invasion which has 3 independent levels also and finally Survival the most unique of them all. For the majority of the game the enemies are laughable and easily avoidable in fact you could get through the entire game as a pacifist with the exception being survival. Usually, its common knowledge to shoot zombies in the head, but in survival the ideal practice would be to place body shots. In survival you need to make enough money with each shot so that you can pay the in-game price to collect weapons and to have barricades removed. If you were to do head shots to the zombies you would not be able to collect enough money to reach the end.
FPSC
In the past I’ve raised the hypothetical question if it is at all possible for anyone to create a good game using this programme? So far, the proof presented to me is ‘NO’. Having said that, this is probably one of the best attempts I’ve seen so far, but again, that’s really not saying much. The constant crashing mechanic alone prevents an enjoyable playthrough and any legitimate attempt of a speed run. Motion sickness or similar, is often common due to there being no sound control whatsoever and only low graphic options being warranted in game play. In fact, I’ve previously mentioned how some gaming companies like ‘Mojiken’ even challenge their new employees to make a good game in FPSC in the hopes to teach their programmers the value in forethought planning and choosing what battles they NEED to work on. A programmer’s tool will often dictate what type of product they will be able to make in the end and with archaic programmes like this, it becomes quickly obvious that they could spare themselves many hours of unnecessary heartache in troubleshooting if they accepted the limitations behind using these out-of-date free engines and moved onto more current and up to date ones.
Initiative Games
This is really just a single Columbian indie Developer known as Santiago Franco ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg4uYtZPVn4rHANgftpIzUg ). Having witnessed several of his dialogues with other developers its evident that he is at least versed in basic coding and has a passion to learn. A common misconception voiced among indie developers is that submitting a ‘free game’ would excuse them in responsibility. It doesn’t and many unfortunately find this out the hard way, Santiago included. He did make an attempt to get another game on Steam known as ‘Hedge Wars’ but this was immediately turned down when it was discovered that he did not have the proper propriety over the said product. Which personally raises red flags to me with the three games he currently does have. Placing all this negative aside, I did enjoy my trip and stumble, down this retro like Wolfenstein 3D vibe it gave me. It took me many hours due to an insufficient and misleading Steam guide to unlock all the achievements, which I can personally guarantee do unlock for those that have paid for the DLC. I laughed out loud at your main characters inability to jump in general, the shortcuts discovered that allowed me to complete levels within seconds, the ability to abscond giant walls missing large chunks of gameplay, the dancing stomping zombie Nazi’s, the tank allergic to being touched which would fling up into the sky and the fact that there was out of placed assets, such as a modern washing machine, hidden in one of the rooms, which simply contradicts the era depicted unless the Nazi’s were working on a time machine at the same time they were trying to create an undead army. In final, I still believe that the true pain to pain of war, was still the game engine he decided to use… Complete game below to help those flustered or to settle your curiosity… https://youtu.be/-vKi6XYxYfQ If you enjoyed reading this review, feel free to subscribe to my curator page.
