PAGAN PEAK VR

"Pagan Peak" est un jeu qui commence bien : après un guet-apens en pleine nuit sur une route déserte et enneigée, le joueur se fait kidnapper par un étrange individu masqué qui l'emmène dans une cabane perdue au milieu de la forêt à l'intérieur de laquelle il l'enferme. Le but du jeu est simple : s'échapper de cette bicoque fort peu rassurante si on veut éviter de mal finir comme les précédentes victimes du kidnappeur ; celui-ci est en effet un tueur en série surnommé Krampus qui n'en est pas à son coup d'essai. On se dit alors que cet escape game va nous faire passer un moment très sympa de quelques heures, d'autant que l'environnement graphique et l'ambiance sonore sont au poil. On résout donc les premières énigmes (pas bien dures) et on se retrouve dans un nouvel environnement clos où nous attendent de nouveaux jeux mis au point par notre Jigsaw, lesquels sont encore plus simples que les précédents. Commence alors la troisième partie, un vague survival dans la nuit enneigée qui se termine par une ultime épreuve nous demandant de choisir entre deux boîtes fermées à clef. Et puis, voilà, c'est tout. Le cauchemar haletant qui était censé nous attendre a duré une heure à tout casser (cinq minutes montre en main, même, si on refait le jeu en connaissant les solutions aux énigmes). Tout ça pour ça, quoi. A un moment dans le jeu, on voit un étrange individu masqué se montrer à l'une des fenêtres de la cabane avec une pancarte sur laquelle est écrit "LOL". Je crois que cette apparition n'est pas anecdotique, comme si les développeurs nous lançaient un "on t'a bien eu !"

A very short escape room game with great horror themes within it, a lot of the issues I have with Escape Room games is the solutions to some of the puzzles are completely insane where you need to unlock your inner eye to figure out the puzzle. This game had great puzzles that anyone can figure out with a good hint system. The horror comes in with the surroundings, I won't spoil what happens but the game puts more stress on you as you try and figure out the puzzles. I do wish it was longer but for 8 bucks you're getting more than what you paid for. I hope to see more of this team's work in the future.

get this game on sale and it's 100% worth it. Only downside it's so short in 40 mins I finished it while being trash with escape games

Игра красивая, хорошо оптимизированная, с неплохими головоломками, давящей атмосферой и интересными локациями. Единственный недостаток - короткая как смерть. Из 2,5 часов, которые я наиграл, добрый час я потратил на затуп с решением загадки "who am i". В целом легко проходится за час. С другой стороны - не жалко отдать за час-два качественного VR escape-рума денежный эквивалент гамбургера в Вкусно и точка

I bought this game at 3$ but honestly I'd say its worth it at the original pricing of $7.99. I did get some light scares early on but i really liked that it leaned hard into the puzzle solving. To be frank, I suck at puzzle games but all of these were well formulated and made sense. It only took about 40 mins to beat, counting me getting hung up in a few spots. My only complaint was the woods section which I won't spoil, some sections felt unfair but you can still get through it first try if you're smart enough. Overall I'd give this game a solid 8/10 it was an enjoyable experience all the way through :)

My real play time is not shown because I have to play all of my vr games with no internet. Anyway, this is a good game, escape room horror. It looks and runs great on my Quest 2 with airlink. I really like the trapped in a cabin scenario. I hope we get more of this type of game.
