PAC-MAN™ CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION 2

Very fun game

This is a game you shouldn't pick up unless you're fine with tweaking settings in the steam controller overlay, because the game has no deadzone for your stick inputs if you push the stick in one direction and then let go pac man is liable to end up going in the other direction as your stick snaps back to the center. This is a disappointingly unpolished game, and is missing the extra DLC available on console as well.

Reseña de PAC-MAN™ CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION 2 PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 intenta continuar la excelente fórmula de Championship Edition DX+, pero con varios cambios importantes que dividieron bastante a los fans clásicos de la saga. Aun así, sigue siendo una experiencia arcade rápida, colorida y muy entretenida. El gameplay mantiene la idea básica de recorrer laberintos mientras comes puntos y cadenas de fantasmas, aunque esta vez el sistema es mucho más agresivo y enfocado en velocidad constante. Uno de los cambios más grandes es que los fantasmas ya no eliminan inmediatamente a PAC-MAN al tocarlo. Ahora primero empujan al jugador antes de atraparlo realmente, algo que hace la experiencia menos castigadora y mucho más frenética. Visualmente el juego es extremadamente llamativo. Los escenarios llenos de luces, colores neón y efectos visuales crean una experiencia muy energética y moderna. La música electrónica también acompaña bastante bien el ritmo acelerado de las partidas. Las persecuciones enormes con filas gigantes de fantasmas siguen siendo muy satisfactorias y ayudan muchísimo a mantener adrenalina constante. El diseño de jefes fue otra novedad importante. Algunos niveles incluyen enfrentamientos especiales que intentan agregar más variedad al gameplay clásico de PAC-MAN. El juego además es bastante accesible para nuevos jugadores gracias a su enfoque menos punitivo comparado con entregas anteriores. Sin embargo, muchos fans prefirieron claramente Championship Edition DX+ debido a que esta secuela se siente más caótica y menos precisa. Los cambios en colisiones con fantasmas también hicieron que parte de la tensión clásica desapareciera. Algunos escenarios pueden sentirse visualmente demasiado cargados debido a la enorme cantidad de efectos y luces. Además, los jefes no convencieron completamente a todos y ciertos modos pueden volverse repetitivos después de varias horas. Aun así, PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 sigue siendo un arcade muy divertido y una reinterpretación moderna bastante entretenida del clásico PAC-MAN. Calificación: 8/10

A great game. I don't like it as much as it's predecessor, as it's a bit more complex. While, that is likely a plus for many, I just love how perfect the first game was. That being said, this is still in the upper echelon of Pac-Man games.

This game is really fun as it's own thing, but it is much different than the original pac-man gameplay. In this game it's much more fast-paced. Eating all the dots isn't even necessary in this version, you need to eat enough to summon a fruit you can use to jump over to a different maze. Ghosts can't even kill you either. You have to touch them first and they go into a "rage" mode. Only THEN they can kill you, which makes sense because this game is way too fast-paced for ghosts to always be able to one-shot you. This game is extremely fast-paced, and it's new mechanic is ghost trains. There's a ton of little green ghosts that you wake up and they follow the main ghosts in the maze, you do this for more score when you eat them after using a power pellet. The game also has bosses which is really fun, but a lack of multiplayer. That is quite literally it. This game is nothing special but that's fine because this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pac-man, not elden ring. It's a fun time, and it's on sale as im making this review so give it a try

mmmm el juego si esta bueno pero ehhh se me lentea el contador y la musica se acaba cuando falta 1 minuto para q acabe la partida ,lo recomiendo pero solo si tienes una pc potente.
