I can throw Trump into a meat grinder 10/10

P.U.R.G.A.T.OR.Y. is thematically similar to Peace, Death!, but plays much more like a free style sandbox game without rules or goals. A bunch of recently deceased characters show up and you must decide their faith. Should they go to hell, paradise, or do you want to torture them? To pass a judgement, each character has a randomly generated sheet of deeds and sins, which are fairly amusing for a few minutes, and it's probably the best part of the game. While the sprites and animations are good, the black and white esthetic end up making the game looking dull, unclear and uninteresting unfortunately. (Also, within the first minute, there was an annoying bug where I would grab a skeleton and it would just get stuck floating somewhere. It seems like it needed more testing before release.) Verdict : Get Peace, Death! instead.

Just to mention: i see no goals and rules here. Description speaks for itself - its a experimental game. I wish there were option to make more colors or themes, more "something to do" while waiting for a new soul to come, because sometimes there is a moment when nothing is happening ( all you can do is either send to hell instantly or move soul closer or throw it into grinder. Sadly,thats all). And there is no possibility to save/continue your progress, which means once you exit the game - you need to start all over again. This is an example when i cant say definitely "recommend / not recommend". This is an experiment and it costs money i am paying willingly, and the reason why i will not refund it because i personaly like the "spirit" and possibilities around this product. But game needs improvement.

Despite a few bugs, the game delivers as promised. You judge souls who have procedurally generated deeds/sins/notes. Some of the sins are pretty funny but they do get repetitive. Throwing people into the lava or the grinder is pretty fun and you can get upgrades that just kill people in various ways. Very cool and super cheap. https://youtu.be/vBe6zd6QgpQ

Nice little game. It's fun to have bats poop on people who deserved it. Which the sounds were a bit louder but I still enjoyed myself!

There's no save game right now so closing the game will delete all progress. The game is very hard to read due to the font choice and there is no option to change it. There is a game breaking bug that pauses the game when you press escape out of the pause menu and plays the game when you press escape to bring up the menu, so the game will only play when a black filter is covering the screen and options are blocking your view. Once these three issues are fixed, its worth the 3$

Funny for 2 minutes

Game could have been pretty good without all the constraints. The game is choice based but tends to take choices away from you with certain characters. With that being said, I can't recommend this game.

A pretty silly game, but it's pretty interesting too!
