This game had me on edge the entire time playing it with many "hell no" moments. At one point I just ripped my headset off and walked away. A genuinely engaging storyline within an eerie mansion that is full of dread and despair. Creepy noises, creaking floors boards, seeing things that aren't there, and enough jump scares to make you keep checking your pants. The graphics are reasonable, but could definitely be improved upon. I've had some minor issues with the torch and my belt being in the wrong positions, but that's not a deal breaker. The only thing I really didn't like was how the wrists of the hands weren't capped off opposed to being just transparent and see through. I couldn't stop noticing it. The game itself ran completely fine on my Meta Quest 3 and controllers via Airlink to SteamVR. I recommend the game for anyone wanting to dip their toes into horror VR. I rate the game 4/5
good graphics and linear gameplay, it's scary but also lets you explore to go around the house without jumpscares, as there isn't a map it's difficult to settle in and forget about the unlocked shortcuts.
My thoughts on the game is as follows. Visuals are great. Controls are good but the hands are off set and pointing way to hi but it does not effect gameplay at all. The sound is done really well scaring you at the proper times. The story was done really well along with the voice acting. The puzzles are not terribly difficult and some i figured out by accident but they are decent puzzles. The only issue i had was the length and the price. I played for a little over 4 hours but you can go straight through the game in a little over an hour. I will recommend this game when it goes on sale for sure. AT $30 that is a little steep for such a short game. A well done game but short for that kind of price.
Game does not work with Index controllers - hands are totally misaligned - but there is a tool in the game to change hand alignment, and you have to do this every time you start the game. Devs should fix this. There is no Index finger tracking. Also Index controllers lack a menu button. The game also feels too dark for lcd - feels like a game optimized for oled. Maybe a great game for Rift CV1 users.... If you can accept these shortcomigs, the game is not bad, even if also not great. More like a 5-6/10 rating. EDIT: I just dusted off the great old Rift CV1, and with that hmd the game works flawlessly. I can see so many things I could not with lcd - and controllers and menu buttons now work perfectly. The game supports Meta OpenXR, so performance is optimal with Rift CV1. I do wonder if this game has been in development for so long that the devs originally used oled hmds (orig Vive, Vive Pro, Rift CV1 and Quest 1) - or maybe they optimized the game for PSVR2, which also uses oled. Many of the textures do look dated (slightly low-res) with lcd like Index, but look more high-end thanks to the SDE using Rift CV1. I'm staying with the Rift CV1 for this game - the game looks great forcing ss 2.5 (27 mill pixels per frame combining both eyes). Coming from MADiSON, OVRDark kinda feels like a walk in the park... But I'm far from having completed the game. First puzzles do feel dated and simple too - kinda feels like a game having been in development for more than 5-6 years... My current ratings: Index: 5/10 Rift CV1: 7.5/10 My rig: RTX 3090, i9 10900K (10cores and 20threads, 5.3Ghz), 32GB 3200MHz, Win10 Pro.

You know it's a really good game when as soon as you get in there your heart feels like it just might leave your chest. I played on my Quest 3 using the Link Cable and I didn't run into any problems. Ok, one tiny non game breaking problem. Sometimes when loading the screen after an event, the frame rate drops. But, it's a small thing and not game breaking. The frame rate does get back up to normal. My PC specs are - RTX 4070 64GB DDR5 RAM i9-13900HX CPU I did put the graphics on high not ultra. If you are looking for something in the same sense as Resident Evil, then you truly do need to check out this game.
Is nice and spooky and the death scenes are in a way hilarious for me.
This game was on my wishlist as soon as it got announced - and I feel I pestered the dev quite a bit asking when the PCVR release date was haha - sorry for that. Was lucky to win a copy through the Twitter giveaway (Aya's Loft). \o/ What an amazing game! The atmosphere was amazing. The house was gorgeous and felt very Resident Evil like. Not going to lie I was a little sad I wasn't able to drive the car for a bit :P! The story was pretty good (interesting take on what's going on). The models used were creepy. The vibe itself was constantly pretty intense. Controls were a bit wonky at times (especially trying to open something with flashlight in the other hand - it wanted to juggle the flashlight). Sadly I didn't get it to work through Steamlink on the Quest, BUT it did work by using Airlink (through steamlink all the graphics were messed up. I thought it was meant to be trippy, until some viewers pointed out it was because of the Steamlink). Played on a Quest 2 + Steam.
Lo he comprado, instalado y cuando entro al juego las texturas son transparentes. Lo he desinstalado e instalado de nuevo y nada. Rtx3070. Lo he devuelto. Si en el futuro lo arreglan tal vez lo intente de nuevo
