OVERVIEW (A Walk Through The Universe)

基本就是个简短的科教片，观赏性还可以，但是程序经常无响应……原因为未知……

It does not start! All updated, installed again and tried both modes oculus vr and steam vr! Very frustrating!

After having tried Discovering Space 2 and Titans of Space, I found this one disappointing (and that is compared to DS2 and ToS which are themselves far from perfect). I found the navigation/user interface very unintuitive, especially in seated VR. It looks like a demo (or, at best, a work in progress).

HP Reverb G2 VR headset, GTX1080Ti. Initial setup did not present problems. Set for ULTRA and major graphic problems near the end of the journey. Need to wind back the graphics setting and try again. FIRST PLAY THROUGH: I sat down to be entertained and guided through a journey of the Universe... The first two chapters I had to turn my head left 120° while sitting and lean back to even see what was supposed to be the center of attention about 1 centimeter from my virtual nose! Next chapter was sufferable in that the center of attention was 45° to my right. The next chapters I could not even see what was being described with doing an "OWL" Yeah, nice concept but needs A LOT OF WORK.

This experience has so much potential, but it looks extremely bad. The milkyway and the local group looks like 1990s sprites attached to an invisible surface. Everything looks so... flat. The perspective makes every object feel like a toy in a sandbox. There is no feeling of being small, no awesome moment. I saw Let's Plays which showed free roam around the milkyway. Moving on the surface of a near planet. But where is everything? I have the feeling of playing VR Regatta: 3 crappy islands, and everything you see in the beginning is everything you can reach at the end. To cut a long story short: You can zoom in, and you can zoom out. That's it. Movement in the solar system? Yes. But why? As soon as you approach a planet, it creates a kind of instance with a fixed scale, without the opportunity to move close to a moon... because it's too small compared with the planet. If you zoom in, your eyes cannot focus it. The first 2 videos you can watch on the shop site, show the whole experience. I purchased the app on sale (70% off), but I will ask for a refund.

科普类作品，还算不错

Einfach Großartig dass sich jemand die Mühe gemacht hat so etwas zu erstellen, finde ich sehr schön. Gerne die ganze Galaxie kartieren und frei erkunden lassen. DAS WÄRE DER HAMMER!!!

虽然不是游戏， 算得上的一个讲解知识的demo,但是这个价格对得起视觉上的体验了
