Fantastic all ages introduction to orbital mechanics. It has a nice little story that links each mission together. The worlds are pretty and the physics feel real and impactful. The devs are amazing! I had a save deleting bug (in the embedded video), not only did they fix the bug, but they sent me a SAVE FILE so I can recover my progress. Seriously, how awesome is that?! Definitely worth picking up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqE7CcrmDGQ
Fun & Simple game! Just finished the Story mode and excited to check out expedition mode. I really enjoyed the camera replay function as well.
Educational puzzles learning about gravity, space stuff. Orbital mechanics are always fun, paired with a cute all-ages friendly story to put any passing space science interests on the right trajectory https://youtu.be/_fq5jDNDkiI
The game is very relaxing and satisfying when you find the right trajectory. For me, Starlight really shines toward the middle of the story missions where the planets are no longer shown and you must find them through their gravitation pull.
Really fun mechanics, loving the art as well. Looking forward to playing through more of the story.
Fun game! One that I can just play casually to unwind at the end of day, super low stress + easygoing. Would recommend.
Really unique and awesome concept. Love the design of the characters and easy to understand controls. Would recommend to anybody especially to somebody who wants to get immersed in something quickly.
Super cool game worth the $6, the replays in 3D are breathtaking and the orbits are a lot harder than expected. Definitely can see it for all ages, but enjoyed it a lot as an adult and STEM fan. Considering how low the entry price is, this is a must-grab casual puzzle game that you can play while watching YouTube videos, on a Discord call, etc. Disclosure: I received a flat fee to cover this game on Twitch, but I'm allowed to say anything I want about the game, even if it's negative, without repercussion from the developers. I'm choosing to make this review myself.
It's a fun way to learn about gravity and orbits, with a story designed to welcome a younger audience to those concepts. Beyond that, the simple aim-and-release gameplay is versatile enough to range from a meditative squiggle-drawing activity to a fiendish spatial-reasoning challenge.
A charming little game with soothing music and casual game mechanics. 10/10 would probe space again.
