Reviews
It's a step backwards from the first one. Avoid and hope fur a better sequel someday or a new player in the game because this is hot garbage.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is listed as cross-platform but I cannot play with my PS5 owning buddy.
아....평가가 하나도 없는 이유가 있었구나.... 시간아까움.

Overpass 2 represents an ambitious attempt to refine and expand a niche corner of the racing genre that prioritizes technical driving, terrain awareness, and mechanical patience over raw speed. Developed by Neopica and published by Nacon, the game positions itself firmly between hardcore simulation and accessible racing, challenging players to think like off-road drivers rather than arcade racers. From the outset, it makes clear that success is not about holding the accelerator down, but about understanding how suspension, traction, weight transfer, and terrain interact under pressure. The driving experience in Overpass 2 is intentionally demanding and often unforgiving. Vehicles such as ATVs, UTVs, rock bouncers, and off-road trucks all handle distinctly, requiring players to adapt their approach depending on the machine and environment. Tracks are filled with mud, rocks, steep inclines, tight turns, and unpredictable surfaces that punish careless driving. Maintaining momentum while avoiding rollovers or loss of control becomes the central challenge, and mastering throttle modulation and steering precision is far more important than outright speed. When everything clicks, navigating a difficult section cleanly can feel genuinely rewarding, but the learning curve is steep and may frustrate players accustomed to more forgiving racers. A major focus of Overpass 2 lies in its expanded career mode, which attempts to deepen the experience beyond individual races. Players manage a full racing season that includes sponsorships, staff hiring, vehicle upgrades, and research decisions, adding a layer of strategic planning to the on-track action. Progression is tied not only to race results but also to how effectively resources are allocated and objectives are met. While these systems add structure and long-term goals, they sometimes feel more functional than immersive, offering depth without always delivering a strong sense of narrative or personal connection to the team being built. The variety of event types is one of the game’s strengths, offering sprints, circuit races, hill climbs, and obstacle-heavy challenges that emphasize different driving skills. Some events encourage cautious line selection and careful climbing, while others reward aggressive risk-taking and fast recovery from mistakes. However, the balance between challenge and consistency can be uneven. Certain races feel finely tuned and satisfying, while others highlight quirks in the physics engine, where vehicle reactions can occasionally seem unpredictable or overly sensitive, undermining player confidence and immersion. Visually, Overpass 2 delivers solid but restrained presentation. Environments are detailed enough to convey the roughness of off-road terrain, with varied landscapes ranging from arid deserts to dense forests and mountainous regions. Licensed vehicles are faithfully recreated and look convincing in motion, especially when suspension systems are visibly working over uneven ground. That said, the overall presentation lacks the dramatic flair or polish seen in top-tier racing titles. Sound design, in particular, struggles to leave a lasting impression, with engine audio and ambient effects that rarely heighten the sense of intensity or danger during races. Multiplayer and quick race modes provide additional flexibility, allowing players to bypass the structured career and jump straight into competition. Online races can be tense and engaging, especially when multiple players battle for control over narrow, obstacle-filled routes. These modes highlight the game’s strengths when its physics and pacing align, but they also expose its weaknesses when inconsistencies arise. For competitive players, mastering the mechanics can be deeply satisfying, but casual racers may find the experience overwhelming. Ultimately, Overpass 2 is a game defined by its commitment to technical authenticity and deliberate pacing. It is not designed to appeal to everyone, nor does it try to soften its edges for mass-market accessibility. For players who enjoy off-road racing as a methodical, skill-driven discipline, the game offers moments of genuine accomplishment and tension. However, its uneven execution, demanding physics, and occasionally underwhelming presentation prevent it from fully realizing its ambitions. Overpass 2 stands as a bold but imperfect evolution of its concept, best appreciated by players willing to invest time and patience into mastering its unique approach to off-road racing. Rating: 5/10
