SRX: The Game

[h3] SRX the most NASCAR of the three Monster Games. [/h3] [h1] Gameplay: [/h1] This game is very different from the other two Monster Games. Not really more simulation, they're all somewhere between arcade and simu, but this one has more tarmac. The game's physics have been prepared for the Late Model and are very well done. Truck racing isn't so fun, it doesn't feel like driving a truck, it feels like you're on a big boat, the track is smooth, there's no feeling, and the AIs are neatly sorted and in order of start and finish. Wingless Sprint is a little better, but it's not that. If you're looking for dirt, check out the other two Monster games. You can find a review of the other two games on my curator group. Late Model competitions are great, it's always very arcade, but you can feel the need to prepare your car before each race, especially to avoid it oversteering or understeering. The AIs have a very big level difference and are very predictable, but beware of sudden loss of control - it happens to them quite often. Multiplayer is deserted by players and had a lot of lag. The Late Model competition from the Short Track DLC is the most enjoyable part of the game, and today I only play this one. [h1] Graphic design: [/h1] It's old, it's not the best for 2021, but it's still playable, the dust work is really well done, being stuck on the back of your opponent is really penalizing on dirt tracks, and once again it's not as well done as on the other two games. [h1] Playtime: [/h1] If you keep the game at 100% for the duration of the races and want to make a complete career of it in all categories, this game will offer you many, many hours of play. [h1] Price: [/h1] Today's Monster Games are very well priced, and well worth the content offered by the devs. [h3] Three Monster Games that should be one. Each of these games has a category that stands above the others. If you want Late Model, Tarmac racing, buy SRX. If you want Street Stock or US Car Legends competition, go to All American Racing.
