Overboard!

Fun little whodunit with a unreliable player. Short games, multiple runs, great fun.

i find the gameplay loop fairly interesting and enjoyable for the most part, though there are sometimes issues with people acting in ways that seem like errors. for example, characters accusing me of lying about something that i literally just told the truth about, or jumping to insane conclusions. sometimes it can feel a bit like you need to pick all the magical perfect options, and any deviation (even if it's effectively the same as the correct option) might randomly send you down a bad path. regardless, quite fun, defintiely simulates the anxiety that lying brings, for sure.

I like the presentation and writing, it was definitely fun to figure out as much as I could. For me however the game ran its course pretty quickly after a few endings and I don't feel the desire to 100% it at least not anytime soon

Interesting game with a multitude of paths and outcomes in which the twist is that you are the one who needs to try to get away with murder. Multiple (short) playthroughs, using your knowledge of the previous ones, are required to play around with all the possible variables and outcomes. Short but sweet.

I actually played some three hours of Overboard! in another account, it's such a lovely game. The reverse murder mystery is a fun concept, the dialogue is well-written and all the aesthetics are just great. It's a bit clunky that to try to get all the endings, you have to replay some conversations quite a lot of times, but at least the game has some nice fast-forwarding options.
