Overboard is an incredibly solid experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. The game's premise feels just like a classic Golden Age murder mystery, only you're playing as the killer, trying to get away. It's a short, but deeply replayable, experience where information is your main form of progression. Learning about the different characters on the ship, their secrets, where they go and when (and why) is key to getting a better ending, of which there are several different kinds. What really impressed me is not only the quality of the writing but the different ways you can go about achieving the same directive. You don't have to solve every problem with (additional) murder, but you are able to. May not work out in the long run, but it can. It was a blast going through and seeing what was possible and what the game accounted for. The writing is fantastic and all the characters are fun to read, making the game just as fun to replay and puzzle out the best ending as it is when you're first figuring things out. A great time, super recommend.

Y puedes indagar o usarlos a tu favor. 😏 ✔️ Los diálogos de Veronica en la capilla. 😂
❤️🩹CONTRAS❤️🩹
✖️ Rejugabilidad.
👍 Recommended "Most detective games ask you to find the murderer. Overboard! asks you not to get caught." I spent 5 hours with the game and earned 100% of the achievements. The premise immediately hooked me: instead of playing the detective, you play Veronica Villensey, a woman who has just thrown her husband overboard and must now avoid being exposed. Veronica is selfish and downright awful, yet somehow she becomes surprisingly likable. As you uncover the secrets of the other passengers, you quickly realize she may not even be the worst person on board. The cast is varied, well-written, and the 1930s ocean liner setting creates a charming British atmosphere. The time-loop gameplay encourages experimentation and discovering new paths. There are plenty of options to explore, although the schedule can sometimes feel very strict. This is also the game's main weakness: if you're aiming for every ending or achievement, repeated failed runs can become somewhat frustrating and repetitive. I would also have appreciated a French translation, as I'm sure I missed some of the nuances in the dialogue and British humor. Overall, Overboard! is a niche but highly original narrative game, supported by a great art style and a refreshingly unique premise. 7/10.

Cool concept but a loop is too short. This makes the gameplay feels very repetitive and tedious.
a great bite sized piece of art with a surprising amount of depth and variety in the narrative, the character motivations, your choices, and how people respond to what you say and do. loved my time with it!
