Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 20 → 109.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A WW1 action game built around fully destructible battlefields where chaos reigns supreme. Explosions tear through terrain, fortifications collapse, and the front line can change shape minute to minute.
Over The Top: WWI turns the grim setting of the Great War into a frantic playground of destruction where plans rarely ever survive first contact.
Charge as a rifleman, build as an engineer, clear trenches as a pyromaniac flamethrower specialist, or call in airstrikes as an officer. Each class has a clear job on the battlefield, plus plenty of room for improvisation. Choose from three factions: France, Britain, or Germany, each with eight distinct classes. Unlock new equipment and customization as you play.
A dynamic, destructive WW1 Sandbox: blow up everything, dig anywhere, reshape trenches, collapse buildings, destroy fortifications. Explosions leave permanent changes that affect sightlines, routes, and cover. Fight across multiple maps, playable in different seasons and daytimes. Use the full map editor to create and share your own battlegrounds.
Dive into massive 200-player battles! Drop into the middle of an epic war movie, packed with flying debris, collapsing trenches, charging tanks and objectives changing hands as the ground itself gets carved up - pure multiplayer madness awaits you.
Bring flamethrowers, poison gas, shovels, dynamite, artillery, airplanes, machine guns, and a lineup of vehicles and experimental tanks. Gear up with a mix of historical weapons, use a vast lineup of different vehicles, and other items: slap enemies with a baguette or play the bagpipe to boost morale! Have you ever driven a tank with 10 other players inside? In our game, you can do so!

Die Physik hat mir viel Freude bereitet. Würde mich jederzeit wieder von einem Panzer in die Stratosphäre schießen lassen.
To me, it seems like the devs prioritized novelty gimmicks over player immersion. Sure, there's all these neat customization options for your soldier and all these great different vehicles, but the third and first-person views that you get as a soldier absolutely do not make you feel like you are in a World War 1 battle. I get that it was a core dev decision to prioritize third-person (albeit a strange one because, well, have you not played Battlefield 1?), but even third-person has your character stand stiff as all hell, barely reacting to actions around him (even firing the guns) and almost always standing upright like he's a robot. This also applies to the bots, which I mainly saw casually jogging around the battlefield as the running animation doesn't appear to be all that intense. Additionally, there seems to be no keys to switch between left and right camera views and no options to go prone which adds to how frustrating their third-person preference is. I suppose all of my complaints being mostly visual says enough about the game mechanics themselves, although the addition of flyable planes seems to be one of the most half-assed additions in the game as everything about it is (you guessed it) stiff. The camera stays directly locked behind you at all time, the plane does not roll much or react much in general to the mouse controls and the plane simply snaps to your cursor after it's done turning, Easy Red 2 has this problem as well and I don't get why immersive flight physics are so hard for some Unity devs when Nuclear Option and VTOL VR exist, but whatever. TLDR: environment feels immersive, soldiers do not.

So much about this game is just not fun
what a great concept for a game and I want to express that I hope the game can be saved before you read my below list of reasons I have stopped playing. - attack / defense maps where the defenders cannot flank. You receive a return to battleground alert when not even close to the edge of map, you can watch the attackers in front of you but cannot actual flank or reach them until they come to you. This then creates lanes of traffic where the fighting takes place, not a full map of battle. Tactics are not allowed on certain maps because it feels that the devs what you to play it a certain way. This mean death by a 1000 paper cuts in some matches as the aggressor has one attack style and the defender has no means of being creative to out maneuver the attackers. No fighting behind enemy lines, no flanking tactics, no creative counter attacks. - hit boxes, enough said. I've been told that its ww1 so guns were inaccurate... Ahh the old 'its a feature not a bug' crap I used to deal with on escape from tarkov updates lol. - delay in command responses trigger pulls etc, enough said - want to peak a shot while in a trench, good luck as you slide and glitch and otherwise are driven crazy with micro movements as you try and aim, so you lift up higher out of the trench to try and fix it and ill give you one guess what happens...... your head is blown off.... while your still glitching may I add. - buggy laggy respawns, a few months in and we still have bugs that spawn you through the ground, or selecting a spawn, have the time it doesnt take when you click where you want to respawn or it will but nothing will happen and you have to go back into the map and try again. - no unit comms, half the remaining player base does not voip and have no intentions to but there are no other forms of communication available. I personally dont care about hats or skins for guns, I care about game mechanics and tight coms to actually play as a cohesive 100 man team. See hell let loose, not a triple A studio but they have comms down tight, I'm not comparing but I'm saying it is so important for the games life span. So unfortunately we have a game that at first was fun and had so much potential that then became frustrating and now is just a weird royal rumble of nonsense with all the bugs and we don't have comms to fix team comp and tactics! - - unlimited rifle / engi positions with extremely low numbers of (fun player types) think 2 light machine gunners for 100 man team. -no progression caps on important roles. Anyone can grab officer, machine gunner / mortar roles at the start and ruin the match for the whole team with a lack of experience or just plain grieving. - Cheating going on, players switch sides mid match, destroy spawns or place them in terrible locations, damage or destroy defenses etc then switch back. One sided teams, no recap or view of who shot you. - snow covered maps, cannot see who is on your team or not due to the small circle above their head being obstructed by the blinding white ground cover. cannot see you own sights as the sights aiming down barrel are also the same color white..... genius. Night time maps are better than snow maps but I cant tell you how refreshing it is to finally get a map where you can see. - no private coms for officers on the team to actually communicate - empty servers but no skirmish maps of 25 players per team on smaller maps - There is no balance in teams, as mentioned above but this directly relates to the games longevity, I am not going to sit on a 100 man team and slowly loose every map knowing there is no option or balancing available in between maps. I just log off and move on. - no rewards or reason to carry on, you purchase the guns / clothing etc you want with points from playing. Nothing is unlocked, no progression. Again it plays to the games longevity. I will admit that maybe I want more of this game than it can deliver due to a small dev team / limited funding. Its just hard to see such a great game idea slowly fading. Servers are struggling and its hard to watch. I think if even a small number of the above issues or suggestions are worked on it will bring back alot of the original player base. And keep them. It would be nice if steam revamped the recommend system and allowed us to grade out of 10. I think if you just want to have some fun for a few hrs then this is a solid 8 out of 10. If you want any more from the game then you will be very disappointed. I will be suprised if the devs are able to complete the road map before the game dies. I hope they can and ill be the first to remove my review if they are able to improve.
this game is a scam nobody is playing it, a streamer pushed it to make some mones for the developer but its actually empty
Don't buy it, people swap teams to break spawns and then swap back, the dumbest ♥♥♥♥ imaginable because the teams aren't locked after you pick a team. Waste of time, and money
dead game
Great game but has some horrible bugs. Latest one i have been getting killed by the server whenever a point i am on is contested.
