Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 20 → 109.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A WW1 action game built around fully destructible battlefields where chaos reigns supreme. Explosions tear through terrain, fortifications collapse, and the front line can change shape minute to minute.
Over The Top: WWI turns the grim setting of the Great War into a frantic playground of destruction where plans rarely ever survive first contact.
Charge as a rifleman, build as an engineer, clear trenches as a pyromaniac flamethrower specialist, or call in airstrikes as an officer. Each class has a clear job on the battlefield, plus plenty of room for improvisation. Choose from three factions: France, Britain, or Germany, each with eight distinct classes. Unlock new equipment and customization as you play.
A dynamic, destructive WW1 Sandbox: blow up everything, dig anywhere, reshape trenches, collapse buildings, destroy fortifications. Explosions leave permanent changes that affect sightlines, routes, and cover. Fight across multiple maps, playable in different seasons and daytimes. Use the full map editor to create and share your own battlegrounds.
Dive into massive 200-player battles! Drop into the middle of an epic war movie, packed with flying debris, collapsing trenches, charging tanks and objectives changing hands as the ground itself gets carved up - pure multiplayer madness awaits you.
Bring flamethrowers, poison gas, shovels, dynamite, artillery, airplanes, machine guns, and a lineup of vehicles and experimental tanks. Gear up with a mix of historical weapons, use a vast lineup of different vehicles, and other items: slap enemies with a baguette or play the bagpipe to boost morale! Have you ever driven a tank with 10 other players inside? In our game, you can do so!

battlefield 1 but better
Great game! You can dig trenches and build fortifications there's destruction. You can even customize your look and loadout, vehicles as well..To bad it's a dead game. Damn shame.

fun
Look, the game is a great concept. The gameplay looks immersive and easy to learn but hard to master. But I wish I could play it without it being at 2.5 frames per second. The devs seem like great people; the roadmap made me laugh, every discussion I put up on the community hub asking about the game was answered by a dev, and they seemed like very friendly people, so it pains me to criticise the game in this review. But to everyone wanting to get the game and wondering whether their PC/gaming laptop can handle it, I wouldn't risk it; or, get ready to request a refund.
Good setting, good unit design, good ingame vibes. BUT, dead server, crude graphics, monotonous gun sound effect, terrible ui...
all quiet on the western front simulator
I wasn't sure what I was doing in that particular trench. I think I took a wrong turn, as the sounds of battle grew fainter in the distance. Around the corner I find an unmanned field gun, one I had never even seen before. It's dark, and I begin to lob shells into what I assume is the enemy line. Two friendly kills. I adjust the aim's traverse slightly. The round travels 177 meters and kills eight enemy soldiers. First rate WW1 experience. 10/10
A game so good, they added it irl.
On release this game was super fun, dumped nearly 40 hours into it the first 4 or 5 days but stopped playing since the game quickly got stale. Came back after a few updates to see the cool new stuff, only to realize how boring, jank and ugly the game is. The gameplay is incredibly stiff and the animations are quite bad. Saw that the Engineer for the UK got a new sawed-off Enfield, which would be cool if it wasn't the de facto default for the class (not that I used it for long, but wanted to give it a fair chance). Especially since in first person the view model is absolutely atrocious and the animations... well, don't lmao. And this is across multiple guns. Wrists are millimeters thin and twisted like a Lovecraftian flesh horror, and don't properly hold almost any weapon in the game. Animations constantly get me killed or get me kills, whether it be that I'm in the middle of building or canceling bolt animations by simply clicking fire again. Recent content updates feel quite rushed and of significantly lower quality than previous ones, while performance updates have come along quite nicely. You may argue that that's a good thing, but when the game plays and looks more like a mod than it did when it was a mod, that's an issue. If you can look past the ugly and the jank, it's a good enough time for maybe 30 hours, and the multiplayer is fun and chaotic if you find a good packed server - singleplayer/co-op is much less fun bc you're just left to dissect the game for what it is - a shoddy standalone mod for Mount & Blade. Sadly, there isn't anything else like it right now, so it's either play it for what it is, or don't. I personally, however, can't recommend it. I'd rather play Easy Red 2 pvp with WWI mods or somethin like that. The trench building as engi is unparalleled tho. I've personally dug and fully fortified 4km of trenches and makeshift bunkers, and could easily do another 40 if the game was fun, but there's nothing else keeping me around after getting every unlock for my favorite classes. Also stop making excuses for not having ADS in a modern shooter. It's current year, there's no skill gap that can be fixed by not having ADS, especially when there are a multitude of ways to gain a crazy advantage by abusing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ animations to cancel bolting and speed up reloading. This ain't Mount & Blade anymore guys.
This game is fun, campy, and gives you the freedom to be creative. Last night was my first time playing and the boys were on let me tell ya! The proximity chat paired with the combat and engineers' crazy construction makes this game a chaotic blast! There were a ton of real players on after work hours but I will note that today (I'm off work), there is nearly no one on during work hours. That isn't really an issue as I'm rarely on during the work day. I enjoy this game far more than Hell Let Loose (WW2).
