Outlast 2 introduces you to Sullivan Knoth and his followers, who left our wicked world behind to give birth to Temple Gate, a town, deep in the wilderness and hidden from civilization. Knoth and his flock are preparing for the tribulations of the end of times and you’re right in the thick of it.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 18.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Girl this ate doooownn.
atmosferi harika korku unsuru az ama atmosfer için bile oynanır derecesinde ben oynarken eylendim
Kolezanka grajac w te gre obsxala majtki i dostala problemow psychicznych, polecam serdecznie
This game is a interesting case study of what happens when a studio doesn't understand what qualities brought them success in the first place. SPOILERS: This game takes place in the same universe as the previous game with the Murkoff Corporation being the main culprit behind everything that occurs in this game. The game has a very weird open ended ending with the explanation only really being explained from third party sources and obscure notes found in game. Now my opinion on this game is that it does certain elements like atmosphere and chases pretty well, however there are a lot of issues with this game. The first run through the game is fine enough but there are issues with pacing since the game insists on teleporting you to an abandoned Christian school every 15 minutes. Unlike the first game which gave you options in between stealth and running; this game simply tossed stealth almost entirely out of the game so the gameplay loop becomes chase sequence, school flashback, chase sequence. The lore in the game is also incredibly convoluted to understand on your first playthrough and the only semblance of relevance that is shown to the first game is through a note that is hidden from most players. Despite all of this however, my biggest gripes with this game are not these. It ties to the game's Insane mode run and Messiah achievements specifically. I haven't seen a game design a difficulty this poorly in a while. As per Outlast tradition, the hardest difficulty is a permadeath mode which will send you all the way back to the beginning of the game. This wasn't a huge issue for Outlast 1 because the game sat a comfortable playtime of around 45-50ish minutes if you were fairly efficient. This game runs on average for about 2 hours. If you are unfortunate enough to die (which you will multiple times attempting to do this) the game has UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENES which means that just to get through the first 45 minutes of the game, you have to sit through at least 10-15 minutes of cutscenes every time. The developers were also so kind to also allow certain soft locks to occur during runs. For example, Ethan's NPC can duplicate at his house and soft lock you from progressing from that cutscene. The Ai in this game is also incredibly inconsistent, you can learn most of the game's sections fairly well but the Ai in this game can still decide to not obey it's regular patterns and randomly switch up on you. Just for reference the developers had to make a patch to nerf the difficulty of the game because of how much backlash they recieved. Summary: If you are a fan of the series and you want to play through everything the game has to offer than the game is reasonable. If you are a completionist, do not touch this game, it is super poorly optimized for it's hardest difficulty,
