Outlast 2 introduces you to Sullivan Knoth and his followers, who left our wicked world behind to give birth to Temple Gate, a town, deep in the wilderness and hidden from civilization. Knoth and his flock are preparing for the tribulations of the end of times and you’re right in the thick of it.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 18.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

**POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD** After finishing Outlast 2, I can understand why it's such a divisive game. A lot of people expected a direct continuation of the first Outlast, but instead Red Barrels went in a completely different direction. Personally, I think that was the right choice. Compared to the first game, Outlast 2 is much more focused on its story and psychological horror. The original was simpler: you were trapped inside Mount Massive Asylum, trying to survive while uncovering what happened there. It was straightforward, easy to follow, and incredibly effective. Outlast 2, on the other hand, is far more ambitious. The narrative is filled with symbolism, religious fanaticism, trauma, and hallucinations. It doesn't explain everything to the player, which can make the first playthrough confusing, but once you start connecting the pieces, the story becomes surprisingly deep. The school sequences were some of the best parts of the game for me. They constantly blur the line between reality and Blake's memories, making you question what's actually happening. These moments add a lot to the main story instead of just existing to scare the player, and they make Blake a much more interesting protagonist than Miles from the first game. That said, I still think the first Outlast has the stronger atmosphere. Mount Massive Asylum remains one of the most iconic horror settings ever made, and the feeling of being trapped there is hard to beat. Outlast 2 is bigger and more varied, but because of that, it sometimes loses the tight, claustrophobic feeling that made the original so terrifying. The gameplay is mostly the same: no weapons, only a camcorder with night vision, and your only choices are to run or hide. If you enjoyed the gameplay loop of the first game, you'll feel right at home here. Some chase sequences can be frustrating because they rely on memorizing the correct path, but they never ruined the experience for me. Overall, I don't think Outlast 2 is better than the first game, I just think it's different. The first Outlast is a more focused survival horror experience, while Outlast 2 takes bigger risks with its storytelling and themes. Whether you'll prefer one over the other depends on what you're looking for. If you want pure horror with a simple but effective story, the first game is probably still the best. If you're interested in a darker, more complex narrative that stays in your head long after the credits roll, Outlast 2 is absolutely worth playing.

Melhor Laxante que ja comprei, compensa bastante
