Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 48/day in the week to Aug 22 → 45.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This one is going to be an unpopular opinion, and I want to be upfront about it: I did not enjoy Outer Wilds. I put 6.1 hours into it and got 14 of the 31 trophies, and I never got past that feeling of standing outside the game looking in. It never clicked for me. What makes it strange to write is that I can see everything the game is doing right. The art direction is genuinely gorgeous, this warm handmade look with a little wooden spaceship and a solar system full of hand-crafted places that all feel real and lived in. The music is excellent, that soft banjo and campfire folk sound that gives the whole thing an oddly melancholic and cozy tone even when you're about to die alone in space. The central concept is brilliant on paper too: a solar system that resets every twenty-two minutes, where the only thing you carry between loops is what you personally figured out. No upgrades, no unlocks, no gates other than your own understanding. As a design idea, that's genuinely special, and I completely understand why it has the reputation it does. But understanding why something is good and actually enjoying it are two different things, and for me the second one never happened. I think a lot of it comes down to the loop itself. Every twenty-two minutes you're back at the start, and a big chunk of that time goes into simply travelling back to wherever you were. Flying is charming for the first hour, then it becomes a commute. When you're in the middle of piecing something together and the timer runs out, the reset doesn't feel like a fresh start, it feels like being sent back to do the boring part again. That friction wore me down faster than the mystery pulled me forward. The other thing is that the game asks you to be the kind of player who gets genuinely excited by reading translated text on a wall and cross-referencing it in a ship log. That's the actual gameplay. There's no combat, no progression, no mechanical skill to build. If the archaeology and the note-taking grip you, the game is apparently transcendent. If they don't, there's nothing else for you to hold on to, and after a few hours I realised I was exploring out of obligation rather than curiosity. That's really why I kept playing to six hours. I felt guilty. Everyone I trust loves this game, it sits near the top of every all-time list, and I kept assuming the switch was about to flip and I'd finally get it. It never did, and eventually I had to accept that pushing further would just be me trying to force an experience rather than having one. I'll be honest about the obvious criticism here, because I know exactly what people will say: six hours is early for Outer Wilds, and the game is famously slow to reveal what it actually is. That's fair, and it's entirely possible the version of this game that everyone talks about is still ahead of where I stopped. But I also think a game that needs many hours before it starts working is allowed to be judged on those hours, and mine were spent feeling politely bored in a beautiful place. So this isn't me saying Outer Wilds is a bad game. It clearly isn't. It's an ambitious, original, beautifully realised piece of work made by people who cared enormously about it, and its reputation is deserved for the people it lands on. It just wasn't for me, and I'd rather say that honestly than pretend otherwise. Overall, I'd give it a 5.5/10, and that number is about my experience rather than the game's quality. If the idea of unravelling a solar system purely through curiosity and note-taking sounds thrilling to you, ignore me entirely and go play it. It just never took hold of me the way it clearly takes hold of others.

9/10 story is engaging, unique progression grants unusual satisfaction from discoveries, I recommend this game to anyone who can enjoy a well though out universe and can appreciate the mystery of the past you are tasked with uncovering. I would recommend you go into this game blind, you can only ever experience this game once.
Immaculate experience, the only thing I don't like is that I can't play it for the first time again.
Do yourself an favor and play it
play this. good game. 10/10. even better actually. 22/10.
I understand that many like this game. I just cannot get behind the ship controls, too tedious for me to enjoy the rest.
