Among the Sleep.
Out of Sight offers a unique and novel concept: as a blind girl you experience the world through a teddy bear's eyes. Carry the teddy bear in your arms and the game plays out in first-person; set the bear down on a blanket and it becomes a fixed camera, letting you observe the character from a second-person perspective. The game plays out as a series of room-based puzzles, each one presenting a slightly trickier challenge than the last, solved using whatever props and environmental tools are at hand. It never gets too difficult as there's good pacing in how mechanics are introduced, and plenty of visual cues to keep you oriented. Where Out of Sight shines is its atmosphere. The mansion is eerie and uncomfortable, steeped in a creeping dread. There's a constant push and pull with tension, yet it never feels particularly stressful. It's almost more adventurous, in a weird, twisted way. The core loop does become a bit repetitive after a while and the core mechanics follow a rather simple formula,
even though there is some chase scenes scattered throughout
, which is exactly why I appreciate the game's length. It's a short enough that the game never grows dull, and one should comfortably see it through in a single sitting. Even though I didn't.
If I have one criticism, it's that I left the game still having questions. I continuously tried to pay attention to the children's whispers, and I felt clues were left around for me to interpret, like the paintings. Alas, I'm left wondering.
"
We need to try Teddy. I have to walk up to her.
" is such a brave line.
real good me like
I liked the game. It's scary, there's stuff to collect, no explanations for anything, far to may spider webs for my liking, too much dust in the air and in some of the chase scenes you just don't know what to do, so do everything while "dying" while trying. It is all very confusing. Still I had fun? Mother say I had fun, so... I guess I had fun?
Gioco sublime!
I actually liked this game...in the beginning. But when you are constantly stuck in the same room and there seems to be no escape, it gets rather tedious trying the same room over and over again (the Butler's Quarters I cannot seem to get out). I've even gone so far to watch the walk-thrus and even they get me no where. It's really frustrating. I will probably wind up uninstalling the game and trying a reinstall. If that doesn't work, I give up!
Game bem maneiro, ótimos puzzles, história bem legal, parabéns aos desenvolvedores.
I love.
It was so intense
On the shorter side but. was great for the $10 and would recommend it to anyone, even at full price for the base game and DLC. I enjoyed the story and the puzzles had a fair bit of variation to keep things interesting. The voice acting was great as well from the small cast. Not necessarily a scary game, however the ambiance and music as a whole kept tension high, with some jump scares along the way. The games core mechanic is unique and enjoyable, there is a little friction every once in a while but overall great concept and great game. The game also looks great and uses lighting incredibly well as a bonus, play in cinematic if possible. In conclusion it's short, sweet, and worth every penny.
