Out of Sight VR

UPDATE I played the game again (completed on 3/8/26) and I'm updating my rating to a Thumbs Up. The bit on the stairs is still problematic and stutters, but I was able to get past it and complete the game. it's still not perfect and suffers from rather repetitive gameplay, even on a short playtime, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth a play on a discount. For $25, there's not a lot of game here, especially if you get all the collectibles on your first run. ORIGINAL REVIEW Unfortunately in its current state, I can't recommend this game right now. About midway through the game (when on a flight of stairs), the game completely spikes my GPU, drops to about 3 frames per second, and becomes unplayable for me. I tried during a livestream and offline (to get the overhead) back with the same results. I checked with my friends with better rigs than mine (I have a 3070) and they noted similar massive frame drops, but running stronger rigs than mine, they were able to push through. I appreciate the devs sending me a key and I would like to finish the game if/when this gets patched.

A spooky little game of hide and seek puzzle solving. You play as a blind little girl Sophie locked up in a mansion by her kidnappers. By miracle you could see out of the teddy bear you love very much. Thus begin Sophie's escape from the mansion and her kidnappers. The game has a wonderfully creepy, spooky vibes like from medias such as Tim Burton, Little Nightmares. From start to finish it took me around 3 hours. Initially I bought the flatscreen version then I realized they actually released this VR version as well. Playing this in VR feels extremely natural. You are truly like a little girl trying escape from scary things. Overall a very enjoyable experience, solid 8 out of 10.

Out of Sight VR had a strong opening 30 minutes for me. This is largely due to the game's strong visual side (it's a proper PC VR game and not a Quest port, which's a rare thing these days). The buildup is nice and I couldn't help but keep noticing strong Little Nightmares influences all over the place. However, as I progressed towards the end of my first hour, it became clear that both the gameplay and the story are not good enough to back up the solid presentation. The gameplay revolves around simplistic box-pushing puzzles and hardly feels challenging or rewarding. Basically you push some boxes and then pull some more boxes, then you take a trip through the crawlspace just to see more boxes. There are a few simple chase scenes that work nice as a pace-changers but they're hardly adding any extra fun to the game. As for the story, well... it's just there to justify another voyage through the crawlspace. With that said, game's short duration is its another strong side. Clocking in at 4 or 5 hours, Out Of Sight VR ends right before it exhausts its potential. In the end, Out Of Sight's positives have somewhat outweighed its weaknesses and my time with the game was rather enjoyable than not. It's a great looking and atmospheric game, that might work nicely as an entry point for the new players to the world of VR. For the rest of you VR lovers, this one is worth buying on sale to spend a couple of evenings when you're in a mood for some soft-horror.

Muito bom, zerei, e posso dizer que foi feito com muito carinho. Tem alguns bugs e depende da área, desempenho cai, mas tive uma experiência legal. Out of Sight VR, Give me the DLC as a gift.. :)

ぬいぐるみ視点で展開する設定とリトルナイトメア風の雰囲気が良い。狭い通路に蜘蛛の巣がたくさん張ってたり女の子の吐く息が白かったり、細かいところに凝っている。最初VRバージョンと間違えて平面バージョンの方を買ってしまったので、平面版も少しだけやってみたがこのゲームはVRでやった方が良いと思う（VRのぬいぐるみ目線だと部屋も少女も巨大なので巨大女フェチの人に刺さるかもしれないし）。VRだと場面によって少し酔うが、自分の場合は平面版の方が酔いがキツかった。
