Ouroboros presents a bright, cheerful world in which something is horrifyingly wrong. The hero has a princess to save and a quest set before him, but there are unsettling signs that all this has happened before.

I recently played this game and forgot to apply the content restoration patch because the story was THAT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GRIPPING and tightly told. It was a two session runthrough, with a walkthrough as I had trouble in parts, over about 10 hours and takes a fantasy spin on a common sci fi trope, and I love it to bits. I got it during the 2023 Steam Spring Sale for under a buck, and got almost ten hours of play out of it: At my usual metric of one dollar per hour being the baseline minimum for my budget, that puts the standard price well above that mark, and close to ten times the value I needed for my budget.
I appreciate the game keeping convenience in mind when it could have foregone such consideration for a lazy tedium. It keeps the game's pacing pretty tenable. The patch scenes are not exactly something to drool over, but I personally find this quirk about the game quite tickling. It's been a good time. Endearingly amatureish, with an engaging casual story of many bemusing novelties and turns into the unexpected, not to forget fun characters.
Incubus Kings really hate this game
Good 7/10, the plot isn't particularly deep but exploring and strategizing are fun, and a lot of the lines are pretty funny. For sure worth it for the price tag, if you know Sierra Lee's other games this one is quite similar in a lot of ways (although if you want sex scenes you have to grab a patch from her site, otherwise sex is only ever implied)Overall recommended if you're looking for a good 6-10 hours of Sierra Lee content
No, sorry. This is one of the games I found lacking after a few minutes playing: a) the use of standard maps...maps I've seen x-times. b) no remapping...hey it is so much fun playing with my gamepad and than using the keyboard to jump (even if there are still many unused keys on my pad).
A true hidden gem. Yes, the art is not on par with some other high profile rpg maker games, but this game has an amazing premise and story. No, seriously. One of my favorite rpg maker games story wise. Even saying the premise is somewhat of a spoiler so I'll just say things aren't all as they seem.
Effectively flawless RPG with a twist... A BIG one.
The characterization is incredible, the battles are more like puzzles that a normal RPG (which i like), the story hooked me in as soon as the hammer dropped, and I was truly satisfied when it ended, even if it could have also kept me playing for many more hours if it wanted to
. I HEAVILY recommend the NSFW patch, the /scenes/ are very important imo. You should play it, I would have payed 3 times the amount they charge, EASILY, maybe more, and i'm a horrible miser
По технической части эта игра сделана лучше чем Desecration of Wings (ну, поддержку мышки и растягивание окна добавили), а по всему остальному так же. Игра начинается с того что тебе дают миллион квестов из разряда "найди то не знаю что, там не знаю где". Writing and character interactions are very good. Quite a few heartwarming scenes, the main group feels like a very loving relationship. I also liked the bleak nature of the story.
good :)
