I remember playing part way through it once and for whatever reason I didn't get a good impression of the game, even playing on the 'dream' difficulty. One of the bosses just seemed impossible. For whatever reason an itch has caused me to try it again. Playing it on the 'nightmare' difficulty - yes it's hard, but as long as you're paying attention to the enemies abilities and acknowledge you will have to make sacrifices, it's actually quite reasonable. It offers a challenging puzzle underneath a grim story and styling. If you like the turn based combat systems, this is definitely worth a look.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Same maps over and over. Maps are tiny as hell too and there's really not much in the environment to play around. Some random rock formations you can LOS behind if you need to but for the most part it seems you're playing on a flat ground all the time. Also I just found out there's only 4 classes. So the 3 you start with is what you will play with 90% of the time. Seems like this game lacks in variety in every department.
A really nice piece of tactics game. The art design is really something. Final boss is quite hard, take some time and some tries to understand the mecanics. The timeline is the key, use everything the game gives you. For sure it's made with love !
weirdly its not the roguelite aspect thats ass, its the core turned based tactics gameplay, especially in the late game
Real fun game with a unique no healing challenge.
It's good. Easy to understand mechanics and abilities. Simple, but good, visuals and baller soundtrack. Progression generally revolves around getting better at managing stamina and health with meta progression elemets.
- If you like turn based games, you will surely like this one. - Unique color theme that gets you in the right mood. - The game keeps you on your toes at all times, each level introduces a new monster to the mix. - AMAZING soundtrack, especially at boss fights. - Speaking of boss fights, each of them is special in its on way - which is refreshing. - The last boss is bluntly unfair though, its beatable, but you will have to cheat the same way he does. - Nicely done bestiary that uncovers both the story parts, and the mechanics of each enemy. - No missable achievements.
After playing it a long time ago, I felt like I should've posted a review since I enjoyed the game a lot and it could use some more visibility and popularity. I personally love the game and I recommend it 100%, although not at full price. For the replayability factor alone I don't think it's worth 30 bucks. HOWEVER, I still recommend it on a sale. Reasons and review below.

Honestly, one of the best turn-based games I've ever played. The visual style is amazing and feels very unique, although this of course is subjective, but it has a very nice "bleak and desolate" style that feels immersive enough for the game's setting. The soundtrack is simply superb, especially the boss battle OSTs and the way the music changes with the bosses' phases. The animations and vfx are also an eye candy if you like this kind of game — they are not absolutely over the top like some modern games, obviously, but I personally like them a lot. The stages, enemies, and combat all feel immersive and satisfying, and they are challenging enough to make you think about possible different strategies to tackle each battle. I personally don't find the game super hard, and I didn't really get to use the sacrifice mechanic since I didn't lose any character in my playthroughs, but I've seen some people that have more trouble in some battles. The game has an interesting system where hp is a very precious resource; it can be used to cast certain abilities, but also have to be mindful about losing too much of it for future battles. Still, if you come from other turn-based games with permanent death for characters, you probably will get used to play each encounter a bit safe to avoid taking too much damage. My only gripe with the game is the lack of replayability it has, and the fact that the game is a little bit short overall. It has a total of 5 acts, and overall you can expect maybe a 20-40 hours playthough, depending on how fast or slow you progress. However, after completing all 5 acts and the final boss, the only replayability is to start another run (You can "revive" your characters in this new run from the previous one with a certain currency). Starting new runs is obviously a bread and butter of roguelite and roguelike games, but... this isn't really one of those even if it is tagged as one. You won't unlock new things like permanent upgrades or stuff like that by repeating runs in a traditional sense. After finishing a run, the next run you either start over with new characters or use the previous ones from the last run with their abilities unlocked already. Which is cool, but it can really get monotonous or old after a few playthroughs. This is most likely the biggest factor that affects the game's replayability, and the reason why I recommend the game only on a sale. I got at the very least 80+ hours out of it and it was way worth the price I paid on a sale, but at full price for 30 bucks it would probably sting after consuming all it has to offer. Overall though, I loved the game and the unique things it had. I 100% recommend it to anyone who likes turn-based games and dark/bleak aesthetics.
