If you want to relive your favorite farm animal characters dying because of a corrupt goverment that exploits them then you should play this game (especially if you already read the book and watched the movie). Great cherry on top to seal the trauma, absolutely recommend.
I love ts game sooooooo much and mr jones is so hot and he makes the game all worth it!! I goon all over the screen whenever he shows up! I hate stupid dumb ugly napoleon tho bc he killed the best character sweet innocent snowball! I laughed and was overjoyed when napoleon finally died! squealers good too. but snowballs the best one by a long shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1000000/10 i love animal farm.
a nice attempt to the orwell's novel, the gameplay though ... it seems to try the your own adventure and visual novel of a game like suzerain but the events and actions you can take makes it feel like a rogue like making the gameplay not particularly enjoyable and easily frustrating. those decisions are sometimes not well explained going more randomly on the events making alt+f4 an option, not making the game feel any better,to choose another decision. also i know a positive ending to animal farm sounds utopistic but it's a video game, i don't play to go from a bad ending to another, there is real life for that. it also needs more hud,not enough is given to make a decision and not repent a moment later, also the events seems so casual making it for no reason hard. advice:don't build the windmill,it does nothing but waste your time. also use an auto clicker, frustating to click and not advance dialogue because it doesn't let you holding certain times 3 seconds others 6 before you can keep goind. i can read fast and is bothering. no wonder the youtube comments are disabled
То фильмы по играм, то игры по фильмам, но тут....игрушка по книжке, которую сделали прямо все четко и ничего не изменили.Хорошо
An interesting if simple way of adapting a well known piece of literature into visual novel format. It has replayability and what if scenarios, but could do with some extra polish to feel more engaging.
Fun game you can play for short while or binge on. I like trying to get all the endings, only one problem was when i went to review the rules on one run the game wouldn't let me leave and carry on playing, i had to close the whole game and restart the run
After obtaining all stamp (so i'm sure that i did, in fact, all the endings and dialogues) i can say that this game is good. Worth 9.99 i'm unsure, but it does entertain you for a couple of hours
Orwell's Animal Farm successfully transforms one of the most celebrated political novels into an interactive narrative that allows players to influence the course of a revolution instead of simply witnessing it. Developed by Nerial and published by The Dairymen, the game adapts George Orwell's classic satire into a decision-driven experience where every choice affects the future of Manor Farm and its animal inhabitants. Rather than offering a straightforward retelling, it expands upon the original story by introducing branching paths and multiple outcomes, making players active participants in the struggle between equality, leadership, and the corrupting influence of power. The game centers on governance and moral decision-making instead of traditional action or exploration. Following the animals' successful rebellion against human rule, players help determine how the new society is organized. Responsibilities include assigning labor, managing limited resources, settling disputes, influencing public opinion, and deciding how the farm should be governed. Every action gradually shapes the political climate, revealing how difficult it is to preserve noble ideals when faced with practical challenges. The gameplay constantly encourages players to question whether difficult compromises are justified or whether they slowly undermine the very principles that inspired the revolution. One of the title's greatest strengths is the way its gameplay and narrative reinforce one another. The management elements never feel disconnected from the story because every decision has visible consequences for the farm and its residents. Choosing who works, who benefits, and who holds authority influences relationships, productivity, and overall stability. As pressure mounts, players encounter increasingly complex dilemmas that blur the line between protecting the community and exercising excessive control. This thoughtful integration of mechanics and storytelling allows Orwell's political themes to emerge naturally through gameplay rather than lengthy exposition. Fans of the original novella will recognize iconic characters such as Napoleon, Snowball, Boxer, Benjamin, and the rest of the animal population, each portrayed with distinct personalities and motivations. While the adaptation remains faithful to the spirit of Orwell's work, it also explores alternative possibilities by allowing player decisions to reshape events and determine different endings. These branching narratives encourage multiple playthroughs, as experimenting with different leadership styles reveals new conversations, political developments, and conclusions. The result is an adaptation that respects its literary origins while making meaningful use of the interactive medium. Artistically, Orwell's Animal Farm presents a beautiful illustrated style that resembles a moving storybook. The expressive hand-drawn visuals give each character warmth and individuality, while the environments gradually reflect the shifting political atmosphere of the farm. Despite the relatively simple presentation, the artwork effectively conveys emotion and tension throughout the narrative. The soundtrack complements the visual direction with subtle orchestral themes that reinforce moments of hope, uncertainty, and eventual disillusionment, helping establish a consistently immersive atmosphere. The writing is undoubtedly the game's strongest feature. Dialogue is intelligent, concise, and filled with the same sharp political observations that made the original novel a literary classic. Conversations feel meaningful because nearly every exchange contributes to character development or highlights the consequences of previous decisions. Rather than presenting clear heroes and villains, the game challenges players to reflect on leadership, propaganda, justice, and personal responsibility. Its themes remain remarkably relevant, encouraging players to consider how revolutions evolve and how easily noble intentions can become distorted by ambition and fear. Although the game excels as an interactive narrative, its slower pace may not satisfy players expecting action-heavy gameplay or deep simulation systems. Much of the experience revolves around reading, making choices, and observing their long-term consequences. Those who enjoy visual novels, narrative adventures, and story-focused games will likely appreciate its deliberate pacing, while players seeking constant excitement or complex strategic mechanics may find the experience more restrained. Even so, the strength of its storytelling and meaningful decision-making helps maintain engagement from beginning to end. Replayability is another highlight thanks to the branching structure. Different political philosophies, resource management strategies, and interpersonal decisions produce unique story developments and endings, making each playthrough feel distinct. Players are encouraged to experiment with compassionate leadership, authoritarian policies, or balanced approaches to discover how each philosophy shapes the destiny of the farm. These variations significantly increase the game's longevity despite its relatively modest length. Ultimately, Orwell's Animal Farm succeeds as both an engaging interactive drama and a respectful adaptation of a literary masterpiece. It preserves the powerful social commentary of George Orwell's original work while adding meaningful player agency that deepens its themes of power, equality, and political responsibility. Its excellent writing, memorable presentation, thoughtful gameplay mechanics, and multiple narrative paths combine to create an experience that is both intellectually rewarding and emotionally compelling. While its emphasis on dialogue and decision-making limits its appeal to players seeking more traditional gameplay, those interested in narrative-driven experiences will find a memorable and thought-provoking journey that remains relevant long after the final choice has been made.
