About
Organic Evolution is a neon-themed platformer set in an underwater microcosm. You play as a tiny, one-eyed organism who must navigate procedurally generated levels, finding keys and reaching the exit.
A, D, or left/right arrow keys — move left and right. Spacebar — jump. You can jump multiple times in the air (the number of available jumps is displayed on the top bar). W or up arrow — break a block above you and jump. S or down arrow — break a block below you. ESC — menu, P — pause.
Multiple jumps in the air. The character has a statutory jump reserve (5 in normal mode, 10 in Explorer mode). This allows you to leap large gaps and climb high platforms. Jumps are restored upon landing.
Block destruction. Some blocks in the level can be broken by pressing up or down. Coins may be hidden behind them. Broken blocks regenerate after a while.
Keys and the door. In each level, you need to find a key (a glowing golden flower). When the key is found, an indicator on the panel lights up, and you can enter the exit (vortex). Without the key, the exit is blocked.
Spores (shields). For every 2,000 points, a shield spore is automatically added (maximum 10). The shield absorbs one enemy hit. After a hit, the shield disappears and grants short-term invulnerability. The number of spores is displayed in the top panel.
Extra Lives. For every 25,000 points, one life is restored (maximum 10).
When killed by an enemy, the enemy is destroyed along with the player, and they respawn on the spot.
Jellyfish - float in the air, moving along sinusoidal paths. Runners - one-eyed creatures with legs, patrolling platforms. If you break a block beneath them, they fall and die. Snails - slow creatures with a shell and spikes, also patrol platforms and are vulnerable to falling. Starfish - rotating creatures with three eyes, flying along paths. Pulsars - appear and disappear, dangerous in the active phase. Toxic Algae are static hazards on the floor.
Destroying enemies drops gem crystals, which can be collected for extra points.
Classic — a standard playthrough of 8 levels of increasing difficulty. 5 mid-air jumps.
Explorer — extended levels (double the map's height), 10 mid-air jumps, and the goal is to find 5 keys on each level instead of just one.
Extreme — same as Classic, but visibility is limited by a circle of light around the player. The rest of the level is immersed in darkness. Keys and the exit glow faintly.
Hearts — health (maximum 10).
LVL — current level.
JUMP — remaining mid-air jumps.
SPORES — number of shields.
KEY — whether a key has been collected (or the key counter in Explorer).
SCORE — points earned.
The bar under the score indicates progress to the next level. Shield Spores.
Neon visual style on a dark background with a hexagonal grid. 8 unique color themes for each level. Procedural level generation. Three game modes. Shield system earned with points. Destructible environment with block regeneration. Hidden coins in blocks. Several enemy types with different behavior patterns. Crystals dropped by enemies. Progress saving. Steam integration (achievements and leaderboards). Atmospheric soundtrack.

It's funny to die when you don't notice the algae that blend in with the surroundings. However, when you die from a monster, it's always destroyed, and the resources from it increase your score. In general, you can repeat this until you reach your own record! As you gain more points, you'll receive protective bonuses that help you overcome challenging moments without losing your life, allowing you to progress further. If you lose your life, you can continue trying or lose and set a record. The levels are always generated anew, making each playthrough unique.

A platformer with three playable modes and an unusual jumping mechanic. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/xc3Zog-S_cs The game features three modes with eight levels each. Your goal is to find keys (yellow stars) and reach the exit. In Classic and Extreme modes, you need to find one key per level, while Explorer mode has five keys. Your character can break blocks and jump in mid-air (up to five jumps in a row in Classic mode and up to ten in Explorer mode). You earn shields (spores) for every 2,000 points. Shields are consumed when colliding with enemies and grant invulnerability for a short time. You can use this invulnerability to kill interfering creatures without losing a life. You start with 10 lives. This is the maximum amount. If you lose a life, you can get a new one for every 25,000 points.
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
Note: This review will appear identical to my review for "Neon Sunset". This is because the "developer", Atomic Fabrik/Gamesforgames, republished/reskinned the exact same game twice... it's the same game, same mechanics, and not even the creation of Atomic Fabrik, as we can see he consistently steals/plagiarizes the work of others. This is no exception... it's a scam intended to get YOUR money for someone else's work.
Warning: AI Slop Marketing materials for this product were produced with soulless AI generated content. The developer violated the Valve requirement to warn gamers about any use of AI slop in a direct attempt to use AI slop for profit.
This time Gamesforgames/Atomic Fabrik stole someone's Love2D platformer game tutorial and put their own name on it to try scam people out of money for someone else's game. Appalling, isn't it? Gamesforgames have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. The game features no proper level design or game/story flow/plot, as they opted to try to use samey repetitive procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding such content to the game, to avoid doing the important job of level/map design. As a result, the game doesn't actually have any content worth mentioning, just endless, boring, repetitive, soulless algorithmically generated sameyness. Developers must learn that procedural generation is not an acceptable substitute for content. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian, broken English or ChatGPT AI slop, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR § 465.4, 15 U.S.C. § 45), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.
This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. Organic Evolution has the laughable, eye-watering price of around $7 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Because this is just a fake game/cash grab scam, and due to the sheer unethical nature of the developer, you should avoid this completely. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Gamesforgames.
A fun, engaging game with great music, but the jumping physics are something else entirely
so! This game like a platformer. Visuals super bright, dat looks cool. They just throw you straight into first level. You kinda dont know what do but its fun idk. Explorer mode awesome. extreme mode also nice. BTW dev add more music that be bomb!
Now we need a jellyfish hunting mode! This is a cute, simple platformer where you play as a funny molecule. Our goal is to find 5 keys, but it won't be easy - enemies and dangers await everywhere. Thanks to the large number of jumps, it makes the game much easier. But in some places you still have to show all your skills.
If you read the review and liked it, don't forget to give it a thumbsup;)
The further - The better♥️

It’s a classic platformer about a one-eyed organism that struggles against obstacles while trying to reach the exit. It can perform multiple jumps to dodge enemies and reach higher platforms. You can earn bonuses and extra lives by collecting a certain number of points.
Organic Evolution is a fascinating game that offers a fresh take on the evolutionary simulation genre. I really enjoyed watching my creatures adapt and evolve over time — it's both relaxing and surprisingly engaging. The game has a simple yet addictive mechanic, and I appreciate the calming visuals and music that create a zen-like experience. While it might not have a lot of complexity, it's perfect for quick play sessions or just unwinding. Definitely worth trying if you love simulation and nature themes!
