Very very difficult puzzle game I was playing as coop with my 12 years old daugher We have been STUCK for one our at level 3 This difficulty is TOO strong, clearly not a well design difficult curve
https://youtu.be/-zT-dbZw01M World Splitter is a wonderfully clever puzzle game that takes full advantage of its unique dual world mechanic. Its beautiful art and music also make for a rather relaxing experience. Which is good because World Splitter doesn’t pull any punches. Every level has you move your little bee-man around a 2D map to collect a number of little creatures. Using the analog stick and triggers, you manipulate a dividing line that transitions the level between two different layouts. Transitioning between the two layouts is key to navigating the level and collecting all the creatures. Fine control and quick movements are key to solving some of the levels, as is remembering the layout on the other side of the line. As you progress the levels get more devious, but you also gain new abilities. World Splitter is really quite unique with its world transition mechanic. It makes for a game full of planning as well as precise execution. The addition of enemies and the way the game uses them really ups the challenge and focus of some of the later levels. The game also scores you on time and how much you used the transition mechanic, so you can even go for a high score if you want to. With 60 puzzles, World Splitter should keep you busy for quite some time. World Splitter is a pretty complete package in terms of puzzle games. It really capitalizes on its unique mechanic and manages to keep things interesting all the way through. It teaches its rules well, and learning new ways you can use them is just as satisfying learning them the first time. Combine that with a wonderful presentation and it’s hard to find fault with World Splitter.
Awesome, challlenging and cute looking puzzle platformer. At first it is hard to get your head around the world splitting mechanic but as soon i got the gist came the very enoyable puzzle fun!
Tolles Spiel, macht Spaß!
Cute puzzle game with a nice mechanic of "switching" between kind of "alternate realities" of one level to find/rescue these little guys, which are super cutely drawn and animated :-D The difficulty of the levels seems a bit unbalanced, all of sudden you hit a rock hard level followed by a super easy one - but definitely something at least I can deal with. Overall, if you like puzzles and cute things, you might wanna give this a try.
A highly unique casual puzzle-platformer with cute, kid-friendly visuals, and a good number of engaging levels. The puzzles are challenging enough to give the average person a fair cognitive workout, while not being so difficult or confusing that it becomes frustrating and not fun to play. Honestly, the biggest challenge is the initial learning curve to learn how the splitting mechanic works and what you can do with it. Once you get past that (probably within a few levels or so), the game becomes more intuitive and quite enjoyable. I will say, those who have issues with memory, visual persistence, or spatial perception may find this game much more challenging than others. It may seem like a simple mechanic, but it's not a simple cognitive task to store and compare spatial data for two separate and unfamiliar locations in our brains. This is something many of us take for granted, while for others it can be quite difficult, if not impossible to even do at all. I bring this up because very few games engage these cognitive tasks to such an extent. The closest thing I can think of are those "spot the difference" puzzles. This is in a very similar category in terms of cognition. That said, as a person with fairly average cognitive function, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Though, I still made several mistakes; forgetting the layout of the opposite dimension and getting hurt for it, struggling to comprehend the relationship between the spaces, etc. But that's the whole point, that's the challenge. I'd recommend giving it a try. It's well made, fun, and very unique.
Nice little game. The second level is quite difficult, but beside that the game has some really nice puzzles with clever mechanics.
Love it
Cute puzzle-platformer that sports a unique game mechanic. Support indies!
Cool concept, poor execution. Dying to the ceiling constantly, along with all of the other clunkiness just doesn't make it fun.
