Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Four-player Co-op
Deeper Progression Systems
Rogue-lite Build Options
Expanded level variety and vast outdoor fantasy environments

Find your role among new War Mages, each with unique weapons, abilities, traps, and personality. Each hero is tailored to different play styles and can operate independently or work together with complementing heroes, ensuring versatile and mighty orc-smashing.

Face intensifying waves of orcs and other hideous beasts with randomized buffs and debuffs that impact your hero, traps, weapons, stats, and the levels themselves. Environmental factors like weather and time of day further influence enemies and your defensive options. As these buffs and debuffs stack, choose to push forward against the growing hordes or return to your castle hub to power up your hero, weapons, and traps before facing a formidable Orc General in a brutal boss fight.

Experience enhanced combat where the combination of heroic prowess and ingenious traps leads to unparalleled orc destruction. Engage in tighter, more responsive third-person shooter and melee combat. Enjoy crazier physics-based interactions and more ridiculous ragdoll effects. Watch with joy as your traps hurl, crush, slice, and incinerate orcs in spectacular fashion.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap stays true to the beloved humor, personality, and charm of the series. From witty orc chatter to over-the-top physics sending screaming orcs flying, and a strong guitar- and drum-heavy soundtrack, every moment is crafted to keep your adrenaline pumping.

Awesome TD game! Perfect for casual play, but has plenty of depth if you like theory-crafting characters and talent builds. Engaging gameplay—highly recommended!
Played Orcs must Die 2 and 3, just to be disappointed with this newest entry. 1. The rogue-lite randomized "Threads" don't add anything but frustration by making waves more difficult for no rewards. 2. There is more focus on utilizing war mage abilities to clear waves instead of traps. 3. The Social Hub is brand new in this entry and absolutely unnecessary due to how large and spread out all the features are with no shortcut. 4. There is no campaign, just 3 random levels and a boss fight, repeat. Extra modes etc. 5. The new cast is annoying, measly and whiny. The only funny game accurate character is Max who is a secret unlockable character instead of the main hero like previous games. 6. There is not a large variety of traps compared to previous games. Almost as if they cut about half the original traps. This game has ultimately disappointed me and if I could refund, I would. There's more entertainment in watching Orc Hentai than playing this.

Fun.
Keeping it fresh is a toughest thing for any series whilst at the same time not alienating old friends. I am an old friend of the series and have played 1 to 3; allowing sessions up to four is great! the new warmages are great, the maps are fun, the soundtrack has been upgraded to a new level of excellence. However I can't escape the feeling that the traps and variety in orcs and co are lessened. Perhaps they are working on DLC and I hope they do.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is a fun and chaotic action game that mixes tower defense with fast third-person combat. The core gameplay feels familiar if you played earlier Orcs Must Die! games. You build traps, fight waves of orcs, and try to survive while everything around you explodes. The combat feels smooth and satisfying, especially when traps and weapons work together. What really works well in Deathtrap is the co-op focus. Playing together against large groups of enemies is fun and hectic, and it rewards teamwork. Setting up traps with friends and watching orcs get destroyed never gets old. The game keeps a good pace and doesn’t feel boring quickly. However, one disappointing part is the lack of a competitive multiplayer mode. In Orcs Must Die! Unchained, you could play against other players, which added extra tension and variety. That PvP element made matches more exciting and gave you another reason to keep playing. In Deathtrap, everything is only PvE, which makes the game feel a bit more limited. Overall, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is still a solid and enjoyable game, especially if you like co-op action and tower defense. It’s just a shame that the competitive multiplayer from Unchained didn’t return.
