Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I recommend this game, but it gets repetitive quickly. Sometimes it's complicated, but that's how you learn to play
It's definitely not as grand as the others in this franchise. Definitely some poor decisions and rough edges, but I do like the game. The threads are interesting and can be fun. I personally dislike most of the characters' personalities and voice lines. there are some interesting weapon and ability loadouts in there though. I especially LOVE Henry, too bad Harlow is basically an annoying Tiny Tina rip off. All in all a pretty decent game to play but not what I wanted from it.

Amazing C0-OP Tower Defender!!!
I would recommend the game but this is a "yes, but". The dev made notable changes to the OMD formula that I have mixed feelings about. And then there are the crashes. The changes I'll get used to but the crashes are a problem. The game almost always crashes if I try to play more than two missions in a row. Quicksaving and restarting the game seems to be a reliable workaround. I'd rather the devs fix the game though. I should probably mention the unexpected changes too: * The devs added rogue-lite elements to the game. Every mission comes with a random bonus and a random malus. In between waves you get to pick one of three from a staggeringly large set of other boni. That adds an element of unpredictability the previous titles didn't have. * Maps are much larger than in previous installments. They're beautifully designed too. And they're filled with... stuff. While it all looks nice, enemies are a bit difficult to spot amidst the clutter. For my taste there's also one column or other environmental thingamajig too many between you and the orcs. And since the maps are so large, getting to where you should be can be a struggle at times. * The leaderboards are gone. No two runs would be comparable anyway so that makes sense. But the thrill I got out of endlessly fine-tuning my strategy for a particularly level is also gone. I've got over 40 hours in the game now so I clearly like it. But I don't love it as much as the first three installments. It will tide me over until OMD5 though. Not quite the OMD I wanted is still better than no new OMD.
I was really skeptical at first due to the roguelite and hero shooter mechanics but I've really enjoyed the game so far. Not a big fan of the heroes and abilities over just having characters with swappable trinkets and weapons though, and the visual design for the player characters sucks ass. I think just about every single NPC design in the game is more visually appealing than the main characters and every time Harlow opens her mouth I want to see her get beat with hammers. The roguelite mode is a neat concept although I haven't pushed super far into it yet but from what I've played so far it feels good. Trap balance feels solid enough that most things seem viable, though again I'm still early on so maybe things fall off later but with how combos work I imagine even late game most gimmicky traps still have a niche in multiplayer. While I think I would have preferred something more along the lines of just OMD4 with a proper campaign and swappable weapons as opposed to heroes and to have the roguelite mode as a bonus mode the game is pretty fun as is and I'm hoping to see an expansion or two in the future. Definitely worth picking up on sale if you're curious.
