Opus Magnum is the latest open-ended puzzle game from Zachtronics, the creators of SpaceChem, Infinifactory, and SHENZHEN I/O. Design and build machines that assemble potions, poisons, and more using the alchemical engineer’s most advanced tool: the transmutation engine!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 10 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Opus Magnum is my first game in the production genre (or however this games are called). I've always thought that these games should suit my puzzle and optimization coded brain but no game ever called to me. That is until I looked a little more into Opus Magnum and tried it. It really is a great game and most of the puzzles are completely solvable with enough thinking, unlike many puzzle games where it gets to a point that you have to spend days with each one and it becomes tedious. The style and vibes are also pretty good.
The doohickeys must converge at an optimal rate.

编程模拟游戏里最好玩的一款了,dlc难度适当,十分推荐编程模拟游戏爱好者体验
Not a misnomer. The best I can do to describe why this game is fun, is the feeling of turning in a homework assignement that you worked really hard on and seeing it do well. That feeling keeping you in flow like trance as you chase the next assignment for a total of well over 20 hours (and that's not even counting community content or the DLC!). If you've enjoyed any other Zachtronics or problem solving style games, you'll want to play this one. I think it's name is more than fitting. I have a few gripes with the unskippable story intermission and the sigmas garden minigame (seriously you want me to do 100 of these for the achievement?!) But maybe that too is Zach's genius way of gently coercing you into creating yet another automation. But in total those few negatives don't even move the scales an inch when weighed up with the absolute ton of mechanics, puzzles and sheer joy in seeing your arms, glyphs and tracks turning reagents into products in perfect unison. Opus Magnum is as the name suggests a master piece. It's not a game for everyone. But if you click at all with that feeling of a job done well, then there are few ways to get that high as consistently as Opus Magnum.

Tricky and Fun
This is masterpiece. I love it. After the first chapter, puzzles are becoming more challenging, especially if you want to make the solution the most optimal (you can see histograms for each level, so you know how much space for optimization left). What more, the dialogues in the story line are hilarious!! Love this game, wouldn't guess in advance I'd love it so much! Completed first chapter so far, looking forward to more puzzle solving
