In OPERATOR, you will play as an elite Tier 1 operator undergoing dangerous clandestine operations all across the globe. With a strategic, measured, and unforgiving style of gameplay. OPERATOR aims to be the ultimate tactical shooter with total realism in mind. Featuring realistic weapon handling, ballistics, injury, gore, and active ragdolls.
In OPERATOR, what you see is what you get... literally. We’ve redefined first-person gameplay by ensuring the first-person perspective is seamlessly connected to your character in the world. Unlike traditional FPS games, where floating viewmodels represent your hands and weapons, OPERATOR renders your character’s full body in the first-person view. Every movement, every action, and every detail you see is exactly as it would appear to any other player in the environment. Leaning around a corner or aiming your weapon feels natural because it’s not an isolated animation—it’s procedural, simulating your character moving in the world. Physically Interacting with doors, your weapons occupying realistic space, you need to take every small detail into consideration when operating downrange.
OPERATOR also has a fully in-depth and unique adjustable crouch, lean and stance system. Using your mouse to finely control the exact angle you need. No more over lean or over crouching, the perfect angle is in your grasp. In addition to this we have implemented a high and low ready system for your firearms to rest your arm stamina and to avoid flagging fellow operators in the field. With in depth weapon collision systems, variable movement speed, manual operation of firearms, shoulder tapping, physical door interactions and plently more fine details OPERATOR has many unique and innovative mechanics not seen in any other tactical shooter.
When operating downrange, you’re just one cog in a machine. Work with your fellow operators to achieve mission success all over the globe. Your success hinges on seamless coordination and communication, from urban close-quarters combat to wide-open terrain in hostile environments, teamwork is the key to survival and victory.
Your weapon isn’t just a tool—it’s a reflection of the way you operate.
Use a wide range of weapon attachments to personalize your firearm and tune it to whatever your mission might require. Strip the gun down to the receiver and build it from the ground up. No limitations. You define what's tactical.
The battlefield is in your hands. Use the environment to your advantage, along with a diverse range of special purpose tools and assets, such as tactical grenades, battering rams, hammers, and an ISR feed with thermal imagery continuously informing you on the atmospherics inside your Area of Operations.
The laptop located in the armory is where you plan out and execute your missions, offering full control over your missions and tactical planning. From here, you can select active operations or dive into simulation mode to refine your skills.
Choose from a variety of high-stakes, real-world missions around the globe. Use pre-gathered intelligence to influence your planning, and get a full picture of the area of operation. Decide on your ingress specifics, including the time of day and infiltration point, ensuring you have the perfect setup for your team’s strategy.
After completing every operation you can choose to replay them using the simulation mode in the tactical operations hub. This mode also allows you to change the parameters of the mission including enemy count, enemy difficulty and more.
Also under the simulations category are the PVP “Force on Force” game modes, where you can fight your friends in multiple different settings. Being both casual and competitive it can deliver a whole other perspective of being an operator.
Dive into the PvP modes, where every match is fast, intense, and tactical. Team Deathmatch rewards cooperation and strategy, while Free-for-All puts your individual skills to the test. With fluid mechanics and dynamic maps, OPERATOR offers both casual fun and competitive thrills, ensuring every match is a high-stakes challenge.

To be fair, i love this game. It is hard, there is no shortcuts. You need to take it slow to get out of there alive. BUT, im just gonna give this game a negative review because of WHO the ♥♥♥♥ is responsible of doing this abomination with the scopes? Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ, i have shot with a scope or two in my life, but the blackout on this game is just abysmal. There is an enemy on the left, you aim there but the whole scope goes black. To fix this you have to rotate your whole body(and most likely move around to aim straight at him, so you have to leave cover) and most of the time even this is not enough, the scope is still blacked out. At least make some compensation like, you can rest your gun on a wall, rock, tree etc... to compensate. Then i get shot, my aim is shivering like a chihuahua at a horror movie. Then i move to a next cover, getting shot by 2 guys.. i aim in and the aim is mint as f. Wtf is this inconsistency?

The enemy behaviour was the biggest surprise. Once alerted, enemies investigated, moved towards my position and repeatedly forced me to react. They were not flawless, but they created proper tactical pressure and regularly caught me looking in the wrong direction. The weapon handling is equally impressive. Physically checking the chamber, operating the weapon and managing individual magazines gives every reload and ammunition decision real importance. The audio is excellent. Gunfire sounds powerful, explosions are genuinely alarming and the smaller mechanical details help make the weapons feel convincing. Performance was also extremely smooth throughout my session, despite several obvious Early Access faults. The main weakness is unquestionably the UI. Preparing a weapon and carrying enough ammunition should not be as confusing as it currently is. Detailed simulation naturally requires learning, but the challenge should come from understanding the equipment rather than fighting the menus. Outdoor movement also feels too slow when trying to escape incoming fire. I eventually found the faster sprint, but it still lacked the urgency I expected. Despite those problems, I thoroughly enjoyed OPERATOR. I have only tested a small part of the game, so I cannot yet judge its full mission variety, progression or multiplayer experience. Based on what I played, however, the core tactical experience is already very strong.
Sim UK Verdict
OPERATOR combines aggressive enemy behaviour, excellent audio and detailed weapon handling to create tense and unpredictable firefights. The UI needs substantial improvement, and several Early Access faults remain, but none of them prevented me from enjoying the combat. For me, OPERATOR is already a highly promising tactical shooter and one I definitely want to return to—preferably with a coordinated team. SIM SHACK RECOMMENDED. 🎬Watch the Full Sim UK Review for details: Sim UK Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/c/SimUKReviews
This is single handedly the best game ive played in last few years. Hats down to the dev
Yeah, not worth your time right now. Weapon design and modification are great, and the concept of the game is at least original, but as it is, the game really sucks. Movement is clunky and unrealistically slow. You move like a penguin, waddling around at a turtle's pace across maps way too big to cross in a fun amount of time. AI are either broken and dont acknowledge your existance or they laser beam you across a valley with an AK on full auto. For some reason the devs added weapons malfunctions like misfires, and while that's fine by itself, you get a malfunction EVERY MISSION. Often, multiple times. Earlier today, I lost a mission I'd been working on for 27 minutes because an AI survived a grenade blast five feet away from him (a cotton mattress about 3 inches thick shielded him from the blast) and my first shot around the corner was a malfunction. That was the third weapon malfunction of that game, and I immediately died and lost all the progress. Thanks a lot devs. This game TOTALLY needed malfunctions. The game also tried to be original with the doors and weapons handling, and I have to say that OPERATOR has the WORST weapons handling of any other game I've played. Hands down. When you aim down sights, your weapon is never actually in the center of the screen, but is instead drifting and floating around your monitor. Reloading is awful. You press R to reload, BUT THEN you have to manually bind and push another button to drop the bolt, work the pump, or rack the bolt to complete the reload, instead of that being an integral part of the reload mechanic. So, that means you can fire a magazine, reload, and still be running around with an empty weapon because the devs didnt make chambering an automatic part of the reload. Doors are also moronically designed. Instead of an "open, cracked, or shut" system like in every other game, you have to grab the door knob and use your scroll bar to open or shut it. It's clunky, slow, and VERY easy to mess up. I recognize this game is still VERY much in the development stage so it's hopeful that some of these things get addressed before it's done. If they do make those changes, dont waste money on it until then. And if they dont make those changes, dont waste your money on an unrealistic and un-fun waddling simulator.
Клютой шутел, я смог почувстовать себя как мой папа. У него был ещё цинковый ящик с номером 200, надеюсь, что в игру дабавят
buggy mess.
Right now I can't recommend this game unless you play it only in single player. Multiplayer is a crazy laggy mess with very low FPS. It needs A LOT of polish but can become something great with more love. I'll wait for more updates and revisit this review.
After the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was Ground Branch, I was looking for my milsim/tactical fix. Ready or Not kind of provided that but I was looking for something more military instead of police. Enter Operator. I heard about it from a guy in a discord for a game I was waiting to get access to, and decided to get it on the summer sale and my first impressions were great. The first thing that caught my eye was the animations and gunplay. The shootouts are quite brutal and fast and while the bots are kinda aimbot-ey most of the time they're fine. Also, despite the reallly early state of the game, it FEELS more complete than Ground Branch already. Probably get it on sale. One downside though, playing with randoms can be kinda iffy and as most of my friends play games like CS, R6S, War Thunder, etc I had to play with randoms and sometimes got kicked from lobbies because "hurr durr why aren't you talking" despite being no mention of "must mic". Graphics could be better. I think sounds are going to be improved in the future as I couldn't hear or notice differences between different suppressor models on the same gun. also devs, PLS add FAL, M21/14, AS VAL. Also pls add a different 1911 or allow grip furniture to be changed (I want to LARP with the MGS3 1911) 8/10, would glow in the dark again.
I've been trying to enjoy this game but I just don't gel with it. The movement is clunky and not in a good way at all, in a way that impedes the game feeling intuitive and enjoyable. Gunplay is okay, but then there's this added layer of "aren't we SO realistic guys" that makes it really needlessly complicated. I may be missing something, but there is no UI element to help you understand how much ammo is in your mag, other similar games at least give you a rough idea at least. I never know if my weapon is on single, burst or automatic and I don't know what I can do to check besides inspecting the weapon which takes a couple seconds...for what? The enemy AI will basically just come to you the moment you start shooting, you can absolutely sit in a corner and just kill one guy and wait as most of the map's enemies will slowly make their way to you so you can shoot them as the turn the corner. The customization of weapons and your inventory management is really bad, there doesn't seem to be any way to just see at a glance what weapons you have equipped. I constantly find myself accidentally waying myself down by having my previous weapon still equipped somehow? You have to manually swap magazines out when you swap guns which I just find annoying. There are graphical problems, mainly what I've run into is the overlay for NVG is sometimes cut off on the bottom, so you just see a big black NVG vignette and then no NVG on the bottom of your screen. Last thing I'll say is a lot of the missions literally drop you into the mission already being shot at by enemies, forcing you to either restart or get your bearings instantly before the enemy is able to kill you. Just not a very fun game unfortunately. Hopefully updates will improve it.
This game is pretty much still in early development, the AI is to be thrown out and completely be redone, performances are an absolute joke, having the game run at low 30 fps even when everything is setup as very low is a joke, a bad one at that
