About

Be sure to join the OPERATOR Discord server to keep up with the latest news, squad up with fellow operators, and have fun!
In OPERATOR, you will play as an elite Tier 1 operator undergoing dangerous clandestine operations all across the globe. With a strategic, measured, and unforgiving style of gameplay. OPERATOR aims to be the ultimate tactical shooter with total realism in mind. Featuring realistic weapon handling, ballistics, injury, gore, and active ragdolls.
In OPERATOR, what you see is what you get... literally. We’ve redefined first-person gameplay by ensuring the first-person perspective is seamlessly connected to your character in the world. Unlike traditional FPS games, where floating viewmodels represent your hands and weapons, OPERATOR renders your character’s full body in the first-person view. Every movement, every action, and every detail you see is exactly as it would appear to any other player in the environment. Leaning around a corner or aiming your weapon feels natural because it’s not an isolated animation—it’s procedural, simulating your character moving in the world. Physically Interacting with doors, your weapons occupying realistic space, you need to take every small detail into consideration when operating downrange.
OPERATOR also has a fully in-depth and unique adjustable crouch, lean and stance system. Using your mouse to finely control the exact angle you need. No more over lean or over crouching, the perfect angle is in your grasp. In addition to this we have implemented a high and low ready system for your firearms to rest your arm stamina and to avoid flagging fellow operators in the field. With in depth weapon collision systems, variable movement speed, manual operation of firearms, shoulder tapping, physical door interactions and plently more fine details OPERATOR has many unique and innovative mechanics not seen in any other tactical shooter.
When operating downrange, you’re just one cog in a machine. Work with your fellow operators to achieve mission success all over the globe. Your success hinges on seamless coordination and communication, from urban close-quarters combat to wide-open terrain in hostile environments, teamwork is the key to survival and victory.
Your weapon isn’t just a tool—it’s a reflection of the way you operate.
Use a wide range of weapon attachments to personalize your firearm and tune it to whatever your mission might require. Strip the gun down to the receiver and build it from the ground up. No limitations. You define what's tactical.
The battlefield is in your hands. Use the environment to your advantage, along with a diverse range of special purpose tools and assets, such as tactical grenades, battering rams, hammers, and an ISR feed with thermal imagery continuously informing you on the atmospherics inside your Area of Operations.
The laptop located in the armory is where you plan out and execute your missions, offering full control over your missions and tactical planning. From here, you can select active operations or dive into simulation mode to refine your skills.
Choose from a variety of high-stakes, real-world missions around the globe. Use pre-gathered intelligence to influence your planning, and get a full picture of the area of operation. Decide on your ingress specifics, including the time of day and infiltration point, ensuring you have the perfect setup for your team’s strategy.
After completing every operation you can choose to replay them using the simulation mode in the tactical operations hub. This mode also allows you to change the parameters of the mission including enemy count, enemy difficulty and more.
Also under the simulations category are the PVP “Force on Force” game modes, where you can fight your friends in multiple different settings. Being both casual and competitive it can deliver a whole other perspective of being an operator.
Dive into the PvP modes, where every match is fast, intense, and tactical. Team Deathmatch rewards cooperation and strategy, while Free-for-All puts your individual skills to the test. With fluid mechanics and dynamic maps, OPERATOR offers both casual fun and competitive thrills, ensuring every match is a high-stakes challenge.
Refine your skills at the shooting range including a fully randomised shoot house. Randomising the layout and targets active including non targets. With a built in timer and history of previous runs you can see yourself improve in real time.

This is it. This is the realistic shooter I have wanted. It is very clear the devs have love for realism, arguably a little too much. But, before I get nitpicky, allow me to glaze this beautiful game. Gunshot audio? Terrifying. Me and my buddy dabbled in the PvP a bit and we both commented how scary it is when you get caught out and decimated. When I brought him to Kabul streets I didn't tell him about the 50. cals and his reaction was everything I wanted. The HAMR scope is the best variant I have seen in a video game ever. I know the scope failed commercially but I have been obsessed with it ever since I put it on my SCAR-L in Modern Warfare 3 all those years ago (back then there was an animation to turn a switch to toggle between the dot sight and the scope, insane I know). The ability to customize your first person experience and toggle between ADS and realism is such a nice touch. Whoever put that in, I would buy you several rounds, thank you so much. The ability to customize the distance of your eye from your chosen optic is the first of its kind I have seen. I love it, do not change that. Gun customization is peak. I could care less if some attachments slide around and ignore rail slots, keep it as is. Now for the nitpicks: Movement is a bit too weighty up hills. I found myself getting annoyed watching this dude crawl up a hill. I know you guys want minimal amount of HUD notifications but, I think a couple of them are necessary. When I check the magazine I would really like a FULL/HALF FULL/ALMOST EMPTY/EMPTY type of notification. In addition, another one about whether my guy is going to look through a scope or a reflex sight would be nice. In real life I know in my head which of them I'm going to use, in the game I need to know that as well. Especially since the aim sensitivity is drastically different between the two. Another one about magazine checks. I understand the line of thinking behind the guy rotating his arm in a very awkward fashion but, could we instead change it so he holds each magazine in the most optimum way to check it? The rotating is frustrating for some magazines and that's really important info I need quickly. Weird stuff blocking the map view while crouched is also very annoying. Another minor thing that interferes with vital intel. Checking the chamber for some weapons doesn't actually look into the chamber unless you are in canted stance. For the AK's and Benelli shotgun the guy provides a frustratingly small viewing window to the chamber. Again, a weird thing about the guy holding the weapon in an inefficient manner to acquire vital information. Other than that I can't think of anything else! I know you guys are introducing a better UI and animations in the next update and I can't wait. I look forward to the future of this game!
Hands down the best military sim if you're looking for quick-realistic fun. I love the customization, mechanics and physics. I hope they keep adding more and more!
