Operation Thunderstorm

It wasn't too bad, better than a few I've played. Thank goodness that City Interactive got better with their graphics. Better than Sniper Art of Victory. That's for sure !!!!!!!

Full playtime is 2 hours, engine is FEAR but unoptimized. To quote Duke Nukem: "what a mess"

Honestly, I don't understand why this game have so many positive reviews. The gunplay sucks, the hitboxes are weird, the enemy ai is lowkey dumb, the game is stupidly easy (I play this on hard), the voice acting is terrible, the cinematics are pointless, and for some reason the player gets stuck on everything especially the train rails in the last level. There's a couple of good things in here: like the level design and I personally like the game's graphics (even though they aren't anything special), but they get overshadowed by all the bad things. But to be fair I get this on a cheap discount so I guess i can't be that mad.

The game is quite almost there, the level design is pretty solid, but overall it's all quite short. The enemy ai is really bad however with most enemies either not quite understanding the player's location in the early games, nor reacting much to gunfire for the first few seconds. The gunplay as a few others have suggested is rather jank, with the iron sights not quite lining up, the enemy hitboxes being a bit weird when they're huddled behind cover, and other than the pistol or stg44 the guns feel really bad. Overall it's really short, kind of jank and goofy, and overall not terribly engaging to play even on the harder difficulty. It took me two hours to finish while playing with a small pause in the middle to eat some lunch.

Неинтересная коротенькая игра. Прошёл её за 2 с небольшим часа. Из плюсов только физика тел противников и более менее нормальная стрельба. Сюжет практически отсутствует и туповатый.
