Quest compatability update ruined this game
1.13 continued the game's consistent alienation of PCVR players, which started with patch 1.8. Every major update has cut PCVR graphics capabilities to "mAkE tHe GaMe MoRe FaIr" - patch 1.13 also destroyed performance. I run a 3070, and I'm getting 3 FPS on a basic map. This is not ok, and the devs are not communicating. Update: A year later, the game is still unplayable.

makes me want to goon and ejactulate abolsutyely everywhere
don't buy the devs have only been downgrading the game for the past couple of years instead of making a quest version
This game with Airlink is HORRIBLE. One little stutter, freeze accidental power button hit, walk out of the boundary, etc. ONE LITTLE ISSUE and the game craps the connection causing visual issues that require the whole game to be reset. Rtx pc with 32gb ram, 500mb/s Wifi, 3 feet from 6e router, ethernet connection, and newest Quest 3 and cant even play this game with airlink. The ONLY game out of 6 PCVR games that has MAJOR Airlink issues.
Love this game. Probably have over 200 hours from my standalone headset.
I was just telling my friend "The only reason I'd buy a VR headset is to get back into Onward" Then I checked up on Onward and found it's become a glorified mobile game for the Meta/Facebook/Oculus community. Rest in pepperoni, Onward.
Played this game for Almost 70 Hours, When I first Bought the game It was Super fun, like you just bought a VR headset and tried it on, I loved it Intill, More, More, More, More, Updates came out, they have like 3 updates a week, and almost all of them do nothing but are bug or patch fixes, not to mention the devs ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it completely up, it used to be great game with or without friends, then 9 year old squiqers became a thing in the community, also the community ether is filled whit toxic people or 9 year olds trying to fit in, mostly when I am Trying to have fun, i join a lobby and the other team or my team is just talking a ♥♥♥♥ ton of trash or saying Shut the ♥♥♥♥ up or just being really toxic towards the enemy or to other players, and yeah really don't recommend playing pubs but if you want to have fun whit friends go for it, it is a really great game for people that ether love milsim or just want to have over all fun, mostly there are many good people that you can get along whit in some servers that are not filled whit 9 year olds so yeah, honestly great game, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ community, Ass devs.
moar liek Downward, amirite?
