Enmusabi best girl and Ootengu main for life (his been benched for like 2 years). Seriously tho, very free to play friendly game. Just not very newbie friendly cuz everything gets thrown at you once you reach lvl 15+. Take the game at your own pace, find friends to grind and discuss builds cuz thats what you're gonna be doing for the rest of the game... dm if you need some help ;P
O jogo mais jogado da minha vida ! S2 Mas todo caminho um dia tem um Fim... Saudades
Used to play this a lot as a kiddo before the covid era, To be honest I only really enjoyed this game just because I pulled Onikiri SSR and then Orochi SSR lolol. Would not recommend playing if you don't have friends or not part of an active clan. There is a story and character plot points and stuff, but it sucks since you also have to go through a lot of information you're not interested in lol. The AR aspects is pretty neat. This game also kind of functions as a sort of social media somehow because you can post photos and comment on others profiles. Not to mention you're effectively in a hangout when there is a clan event, and I remember there being in-game fireworks and being able to show up as your character in a room with other clan members. Also if you manage to get your irl friend in this game, you're able to level up and obtain so much resources you can effectively play for free. You can also create bonds with your in-game friends which you can level up as you play together, or also take on the role of mentor or student which offers different bonuses when completing side-quests. The other neat thing is the overworld bosses you unlock as part of the end game, which shows up on a map which functions similar to Pokémon GO (its literally Google Maps). Honestly, if it was any other game I wouldn't really recommend it. Unless you want to have a neat time killer or something quick to do when you're on the bus, in a cafe or studying. Going back to it however after a couple of years I found the gameplay loop unbearable, since I kind of outgrown the MMORPG or gacha style grind/farming. There is however an auto-combat mode, and for a gacha game I think its pretty decent.
Ive played this game since it came out, it was a fun gacha game. I love the genre since im a fan of Historical Magical type of Anime. I wish it wasnt that much expensive for the micro transactions but either way without it I love the game.
dit me game
Amazing story, beautiful summon animations, and a very active community. The grind is real, but the rewards and the sense of progression make it worth every second. 10/10 for any fan of the genre.
Onmyoji is a free-to-play turn-based RPG developed and published by NetEase Games that successfully blends Japanese folklore with strategic gameplay and impressive production values. Set in a beautifully realized version of the Heian era, the game follows the journey of an onmyoji who must restore harmony between the human world and the realm of spirits. Its narrative is built around encounters with demons, mythical creatures, and legendary figures, creating an engaging fantasy adventure rooted in traditional mythology rather than conventional medieval settings. The story gradually expands through cinematic sequences and character-driven episodes, giving players a compelling reason to continue exploring beyond simply collecting stronger units. Combat is the heart of the experience, offering a tactical turn-based system that rewards careful planning instead of brute force. Players recruit an extensive roster of shikigami, each possessing distinct abilities, elemental strengths, and battlefield roles. Building an effective team involves balancing damage dealers, defensive characters, healers, and support specialists while also equipping them with customizable soul sets that significantly influence performance. Every encounter encourages experimentation with different lineups and strategies, especially during challenging boss fights and advanced content where teamwork and skill combinations become essential. The progression system consistently introduces new ways to improve characters, keeping battles engaging even after many hours of play. One of Onmyoji's greatest achievements is its artistic presentation. Every environment, character, and creature reflects traditional Japanese aesthetics with remarkable attention to detail. The hand-painted visuals are complemented by fluid animations that make both exploration and combat visually satisfying. The soundtrack reinforces the game's mystical atmosphere with elegant orchestral pieces and traditional musical influences, while an excellent Japanese voice cast gives personality and emotion to the diverse cast of heroes and spirits. Together, these elements create an immersive world that feels rich in history and culture, allowing the setting to stand out from many other fantasy RPGs. The amount of available content ensures long-term replay value. Alongside the main storyline, players can participate in cooperative raids, challenge powerful world bosses, climb competitive PvP rankings, complete daily and seasonal activities, and unlock numerous collectible characters through various gameplay systems. Cross-platform support also allows progress to be shared between Steam and the mobile version, making it easy to continue playing regardless of device. Frequent updates introduce additional events, new shikigami, and fresh gameplay mechanics, helping the experience remain active for both newcomers and longtime fans. Like many games built around collectible characters, Onmyoji does have its share of drawbacks. Progression eventually requires considerable farming for resources, equipment, and upgrade materials, which may become repetitive for players who prefer faster advancement. The summoning system depends on chance, meaning acquiring the rarest shikigami can require patience or financial investment. New players may also find the large number of currencies, upgrade systems, and game modes somewhat intimidating, especially since years of added content have increased the overall complexity. Competitive modes also tend to favor experienced players with highly developed collections, making it difficult for beginners to immediately compete at the highest level. Despite these shortcomings, Onmyoji remains an outstanding example of a free-to-play strategy RPG. Its combination of tactical combat, captivating mythology, exceptional art direction, and deep progression systems creates an experience that feels both rewarding and memorable. The game successfully balances narrative, collection mechanics, and strategic gameplay while presenting one of the most visually distinctive worlds in the genre. Players who appreciate thoughtful turn-based battles, rich folklore, and long-term character development will find countless hours of entertainment, making Onmyoji one of the strongest offerings in its category. Rating: 8/10
