(SPOILER WARNING PLEASE GO PLAY THIS GEM OF A GAME FOR YOURSELF BEFORE READING THIS!) 1000/10 Genuine masterpiece of a game, the story, the characters, EVERYTHING. I learned of this game from a friend, he recommended it to me, but it took me a while to finally play it, but I am SO glad I did. First off, I REALLYYYY love Niko, like, genuinely, they are the most lovable, adorable little REGULAR PERSON ever. I grew attached to them pretty quickly. Story-wise, the beginning was fine, it was a decent story, but honestly, the main thing that kept me playing was Niko. After I beat the "fake ending," as I'll call it, I felt a bit underwhelmed. The game was still good, but I felt like there was just something missing, like I was kind of just left thinking, That's it? But then my friend told me to delete my save with no context, so I did, and oh boy, the solstice ending was everything I was missing. I got more Niko, of course, and the new characters too were super cool, and going to the areas that were sort of teased in the base game was also really cool, and the story was also just WAAAAY better, to be honest. And the ending was beautiful. I was sitting there crying over it, and saying goodbye to Niko was heartbreaking. But yeah, this game is amazing and honestly something I really needed right now, at least at the time of making this review since I'm going through a really hard time in life right now. But yeah, amazing game! And of course if you happen to read this, thank you, Bell, for showing me this game <3
