No revenue estimate for the App Store: Apple publishes no install counts, and its star-rating counts don't calibrate to sales the way Steam's written reviews do. Reviews and prices only.
Right now, about four people are born every second. This is a simulation where you follow one of them from their first day to their last. Which country, which family. Whether they get to go to school, what work they do, who they love, how many children they raise, and how and when they die — all of it is decided by chance, based on real statistics for each country published by the World Bank. You don't choose. You watch. ◆ Simply watch one life ・Time passes one year at a time as their diary grows. Six speeds from ×0.25 to ×12 ・The diary is written in their own words. Early years are kept by a parent; after that, their honest thoughts and small resolutions ・Health, happiness, knowledge and relationships; every family member's name and age; income and savings ・At milestones like 5, 30 and 50, you see what share of people born that year in that country are still alive ・The lives of the other people born in the same second run alongside ◆ A memorial at the end When the end comes, a memorial is held in a way that fits the era and the land. Their life is summed up in a short piece and kept in the Memorial Hall. ◆ Divine Intervention (one-time in-app purchase) ・Grant eternal life: they stop aging, though conflict or illness can still take them ・Save to favorites: save anyone, even mid-life, and reread them anytime ・Reincarnate: reborn as someone else in another land, with memories of the past life ・Choose an era: from the Paleolithic (about 30,000 years ago) to 2100 ・Choose a country to be born in Watching is fully enjoyable without it. * Events follow a simplified model based on statistics. Child deaths, conflict and early marriage appear at their statistical frequency. All characters are fictional, and nothing here judges any country or people.
