One Shell Straight to Hell pits a heavily armed Padre Alexander against hordes of demons and the possessed in an isometric dungeon crawling, roguelite shooter with a pinch of base defence mechanics and a surly attitude.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Middelmådig tjuvaktig tommeltottskyttar. Sikkert heilt ok om du legg sjela di i det, men spelet fanga aldri meg. Laber story, laber gameplay, laber grafikk - fin musikk...
This game won me over right away. Fun twinstick shooter with great voice acting that actually made me laugh quite a few times 😄 Showed the game to my friends on stream and they seemed to like it as well it has some nice tower defense mechanics and a dash ability to get out of sticky situations. Ill have to play more and play the Layers of Fear dlc since Im enjoying it even more than I imagined! My only complaint is this game isn't co-op since your with another AI sometimes and I would play this game ALL THE TIME!!!

There are some serious control bugs. Tutorial works fine but then it becomes impossible to shoot, change weapons, place traps, exit trap mode, I even had the map refusing to stay on the screen. I have found a thread and a review with the same issue. No fix and no words from the dev. The game is unplayable at this point. Other than that the game looks cheap and controls badly even without bugs. Price tag should be 10£ max, not the current 20£. And considering the "doggo" line and the name of the publisher "Shotgun with Glitters" I won't regret refunding it TL;DR: Reddit tier game
Too Hard
雰囲気自体は良いがゲームとしては微妙で続ける気にならない。死んでやり直しになるのが面倒すぎる。 XUnity.
EDIT: Okay, I changed my mind. after playing it for a while longer, the glitches mounted up. At one point, the frame rate on my Nvidia RTX 3060, 16GB RAM PC hit the single digits for a game that has graphics only slightly better than Minecraft. The writing is still good, but the gameplay started dragging due to the constant flip from tower defense to level based shooter. This in of itself isn't a problem, but once you get the tools, the tower defense element becomes vastly tedious with no growth or development in tactics. On top of all this, the weapons are incredibly unbalanced with one shock grenade launcher being OP as all hell. If this was a level based shooter at half the cost with the glitches fixed and the weapons balanced, I could recommend this, but as is, when I got to the third act, I looked at the map and just said screw this, I got better games to play. A solid deal if you get this on sale, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this at full price. It's just too buggy and there's no enough to it for me to recommend for twenty dollars. That begin said, for 5 or 10, definitely. It's a well rounded blend of tower defense and top-down shooter with a good deal of campy horror and meta comedy that makes the writing very enjoyable if you, like me, like that kind of thing. The voice actor for El Padre is fantastic, though you can tell he's where all the voice acting effort was put into. Get this game on sale for a fun if simple shooting and looting good time for Halloween.
It's fun but I'd wait for a sale. The game unfortunately features no saving, if you die your save file is deleted. Saying that I'd put a blind eye to few unfair situations but I just cannot since there are no checkpoints: Enemies hitting you before you can even see them because of Fog of War, enemies spawning right under you sometimes and wonky hitboxes. The timer is still going when in gear wheel even though everything stops moving. Also the annoying red screen on getting hit is more annoying than helpful.
Developed and published by Shotgun with Glitters, One Shell Straight to Hell takes the foundation of a twin-stick shooter and enhances it with roguelite progression, dungeon crawling, and defensive strategy. Set within the same universe as The Padre, the game follows the irreverent demon hunter Father Alexander as he fights to keep infernal forces from overrunning the Halliwell estate. Instead of relying solely on nonstop action, the game mixes randomized exploration, persistent upgrades, and tactical preparation into a gameplay loop that constantly encourages another run. While the concept borrows familiar mechanics from the genre, it stands out through its distinctive personality and supernatural setting. Every expedition into the procedurally generated dungeons offers new layouts, enemy arrangements, and opportunities to discover powerful equipment. Players battle through swarms of demonic creatures, corrupted objects, and imposing bosses while collecting blessings and resources that strengthen future attempts. The arsenal is impressively varied, ranging from conventional firearms to holy relics and cursed weapons that introduce meaningful trade-offs between power and survivability. Unlockable miracles and permanent character improvements ensure that progress feels rewarding even after failed runs, giving players additional motivation to experiment with different builds and combat strategies rather than relying on a single approach. A defining feature of One Shell Straight to Hell is the way it combines fast-paced shooting with defensive gameplay. Between dungeon expeditions, players return to the Halliwell mansion, where they must reinforce defenses against incoming demonic invasions. Traps, magical enhancements, and careful planning become just as important as precise aiming during these sequences. This additional layer of strategy prevents the gameplay from becoming repetitive by requiring players to think ahead instead of focusing exclusively on combat. The transition between frantic action and defensive preparation creates a satisfying rhythm that distinguishes the game from more conventional roguelite shooters. Visually, the game embraces a stylized voxel-inspired aesthetic that balances dark fantasy with a playful sense of humor. Although the graphics remain relatively simple, the environments possess enough detail to establish an eerie atmosphere while maintaining smooth readability during hectic firefights. Enemy designs are imaginative, ranging from haunted furniture and grotesque monsters to bizarre supernatural creatures that reinforce the game's offbeat tone. Father Alexander himself injects plenty of personality into the adventure through witty dialogue and a cynical attitude that keeps the narrative entertaining without overshadowing the gameplay. Complemented by energetic audio and atmospheric music, the presentation succeeds in creating a world that feels both sinister and amusing. Despite its creativity, the game is not without shortcomings. Some systems feel more polished than others, and the ambitious combination of genres occasionally results in uneven pacing. Procedural generation extends replayability, but repeated room layouts and fluctuating weapon availability can make certain runs less engaging than others. Combat also becomes overwhelming during larger enemy encounters, where visual clutter and balance issues sometimes reduce the sense of control. These imperfections prevent the experience from reaching the consistency achieved by the strongest entries in the roguelite genre, though they rarely overshadow the game's enjoyable core mechanics. One Shell Straight to Hell succeeds by delivering an entertaining blend of arcade shooting, roguelite progression, and tactical base defense wrapped in an imaginative supernatural setting. Its memorable protagonist, creative weapon selection, and willingness to combine multiple gameplay styles make it an appealing choice for players looking for something different within the indie action scene. Although it lacks the refinement and balance of genre leaders, its originality, replay value, and energetic combat make it an enjoyable experience for those willing to embrace its rough edges.
