One Shell Straight to Hell pits a heavily armed Padre Alexander against hordes of demons and the possessed in an isometric dungeon crawling, roguelite shooter with a pinch of base defence mechanics and a surly attitude.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

OSSTH is a video game that mixes roguelike and tower defense elements, all with a twin stick shooter gameplay. These gameplay elements and genres are melted in a clever way, with skillls and crafting elements for shakin' things up whenever the player gets bored. On the top of all of this we have the mood: let's imagine an horror low budget movie, with some kitsch element in. The only thing that can make this game better is a co-op mode :D
Fun twin stick shooter which mixes a couple of genres.
It might just be the accent, but Padre gives off Jon Constantine vibes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eSU7ksXpc0 If you want to watch me play One Shell Straight to Hell, click my link. You are The Padre, a man of the cloth with a sarcastic mouth. You carefully balance the twinstick roguelike genre with base defense, and somehow the combination works. Stages alternate between exploration and base defense, and the game shines with its base defense. You protect multiple rooms, have plenty of upgrades to choose from, and you're the hero who keep the whole thing together. Personally, I wish the whole game was the base defense element. It's an excellent twist on the genre. The dialogue includes plenty of bad jokes to either entertain or annoy you. Controls are a bit unintuitive and take a while to get used to. But there's something about One Shell Straight to Hell that shows the love that was put into it, and the twinstick base defense is addictive.
This game has a lot of interesting ideas going on in it that do work decently but I think it could use some improvement. The base defense does get repetitive over time and for that matter so does the exploration especially early on. The biggest improvement I see would be from making sure any opened door in the Mansion instantly reveals the room + moving all enemy spawns away from doors since currently nearly every door causes the player to get hit just to see the room. The story pickup items commonly cut off their text before the player can read the whole thing in the English mode so that needs resolved. Another is a change in progression to make the player get more experience and coins based on the strength of defeated enemies. Tightening up the combat by making attacks more impactful and making sure the base defense mechanics progress in a more consistent manner would go a long way too. All that said the setting and charm of the game overall makes up for most of these shortcomings and the game should last most players between 4.5-6 hours.
Needs some sort of Save function, unless you need to start a new game from the title screen all the time.
https://youtu.be/vlv9rpZbto4 Neat idea, neat game. Link above shows the initial tutorial and what to expect when you dive into this game. It's part noir detective, part Luigi's mansion, part defend the tower. You explore throughout the mansion in an effort to assist the inflicted family, but all the while you have to be conscious of the front portion of the location which is routinely attacked by waves of enemies. Gameplay is simple but fun, main character is a funny guy, and it's easy to pick up and play for a little here and there and then be able to dive back in. Be forewarned; if you let the mansion get overrun, you have to start a new game. Protecting it is of the highest priority. Thumbs up, recommend!
This is not a "roguelite" as advertised. There is no save file and subsequently there's no meta progression between runs. You quit or the Padre dies and its back to zero. Which is a shame because frankly I do enjoy the game play in spite of the unpolished elements. I would play this game in its entirety if I could deal with it in parts. I tried looking to see if someone at least posted a play through or the endings and I found NOTHING. Sadly this game will be stuck under my "should have refunded" label in the library.
