About
One Last Toast is a first-person adventure set in a Venetian villa owned by the Bepi's family.
You awaken in the chilling silence of a ballroom, surrounded by the deceased guests of the family's latest celebration. Just hours ago, you raised a glass to their new wine.
Now, the opulent Venetian villa is a tomb, strangled by monstrous vines visible beyond the windows, and haunted by a sinister force within its walls.
As perhaps the only survivor, your primary goal is to make it out alive.
Explore and find your way through the handcrafted Villa hallways, in an attempt to reach its very core.
Find the items you need to progress through the estate’s locked doors and hidden passages.
Battle nightmarish creatures with scavenged weapons, from melee to firearms.
Feel the impact of every hit with dynamic, physics-based reactions.
Survive: ammo is scarce and bullets should not be wasted.

bon petit jeu rétro
8/10 Quite short, not very hard but quite charming little survival horror FPS with a silly premise and sillier ending. Certainly worth the ticket price.

Excellent
The game seems to take great inspiration from classic horror games, and it does so with great success. The atmosphere is excellent throughout the game - it's oppressive, has eerie music, strange and mysterious decorations, statues and the like, small mysteries to solve. Even when you get a glimpse outside the villa, you see it has been overgrown with massive vines, leading to a significant sense of being trapped. The graphics do a fine job of portraying the villa and enemies, and are quite charming in their aesthetic. Obviously they're not some ray-traced, 8 gorillion poly count models with the latest meme tech, but they FIT the game's atmosphere and theme perfectly. The action combat is fine as well - no problems aiming and pulling the trigger, or knifing enemies in the head. There's a few weapons - knife, pistol, shotgun, rifle, molotovs. The enemies are not significantly difficult, and the villa is littered with enough ammo to keep you well-stocked. Still, they serve a purpose of presenting obstacles as you try to escape. You'll explore in order to make progress - finding that gemstone to fit in the door slot, the key, the eyeball, so on. The puzzles aren't difficult or head-scratchers, and you can make progress easily, especially if you find the floor maps that 1) tell you where you are, and 2) clearly label rooms, important items/objects, and whether doors are locked / unlocked. It's a nice addition that helps keep you focused. There's a light story told through discarded documents / notes, as well as interactions with characters. It was interesting enough for me to be curious what transpired. It serves as a vehicle for gameplay, which is perfectly fine. Honestly, I prefer my games that way anyway, as I'd rather play the game than watch 20 minute cutscenes. Overall, this is a solid indie title that is sadly overlooked due to Steam's awful algorithms. The quality of work is impressive, and the developer is asking a reasonable amount for it. If you care about the quality of games in this industry, you owe it to yourself and others to let folks know about One Last Toast.
Veramente, veramente carino lo consiglio senza alcun dubbio. Una piccola avventura vecchio stile.
好玩,类生化危机游戏,小品级。流程差不多一小时半左右可以打完。
Molto carino, dura poco più di un ora. Consigliato.
Solid game. I wish more games could not waste my time with filler and fluff, and just get straight to the point, like this one.
This game is a TOTAL HIDDEN GEM. Absolute survival horror banger. If you enjoyed Nightmare of Decay, Dead Beacon, or Hope is Gone - this is exactly like those. Explore a big nonlinear mansion, fight zombies, solve puzzles, unlock doors - everything you could want! All in a very low-poly kitschy PSX art style. It’s a gem if that kind of Indie early Resident Evil style is up your alley. For me - this is the holy grail.
