nice
Very confusing, yet absolutely stunning game!
Visuals.
The style of this game along with it's visuals is unique(well, for me. c:). They look STUNNING, it definitely looks like it took a very long time to make them, so much love and passion went into this. I can't really describe how great they are, just, very-very beautiful and amazing. This style just made me tear up from this beauty. Eassy ∞/10.
Music, sound effects.
It is amazing......... Music is very melodical and beautiful. Sound effects are, i don't know. It just might be my sense of rhythm being bad, i feel they didn't always fit with music. Again, maybe my horrid sense of rhythm. They still sound good, and i absolutely loved using them as a way to "respond" to Big Friend(it's just how i call them. X3), hehehe. 10/10
Gameplay.
I loved it! Yet, sometimes, it was quite confusing. At times, it is not very easy to control the "microbe" we play as. XD Movements are arrows/mouse, WASD for making waves and sounds. Very easy to get. Yet, sometimes, it feels too slow. Puzzles are quite easy to solve, really. The parkour/fast-paced segments were more of the trouble for me, yet, in the end, it didn't take me too long to get. It was very funny to mess up at basically the most epic parts, where music was getting to it's peak, like hit an obstacle and all epicness is gone, music's back to it's more peaceful pace. XD One of my fave chapters is this space-looking chapter, where our character needed to use "stars" to fling further, and then use a "ship", i LOVED these mechanics!! The ending chapter(?) is my most favourite, i loved the Big Friend not just following our "microbe", but also helping! And carrying! I love my Big Fren!!!! The ending just brought a tears to my eyes,,, It was so sad to see that our character also needed to go, and Big Friend's reaction was so sad!!! It's is indeed a very beautiful end to the cycle. Overall, this was absolutely great game, at some points the visuals just really reminded me of this microbe-water stage in Spore, and i LOVELOVELOVE Spore!!! XD Would've been amazing if there was like a free-roam mode through all the chapters. Amazing game! <3
Just wow! At first, I didn't have a clue what to do or even if I'd make it through to the end but then I started to see patterns and sequences to follow. Then I was hooked. Some describe this game as surreal, psychedelic, spacey...all true but there is also a clever series of hoops to jump through...riding circular sound waves through mazes, being shot like an arrow through a series of connecting beacons, and many other challenging but doable stages, all in a colorful, swirly world. I ended up loving this game, though I still don't have a clue what I just did (or even what the title means).
Unfortunately I can NOT recommend this game. Yes, its fresh, fascinating and exceptional but it does a really bad job in explaining its mechanics. I´m playing a lot so I am quite familiar with intuitively exploring game mechanics. I never before needed a video right at the start of a game just to get hints on how to navigate, what it is the game actually wants of me or simply where to go to progress. Especially the last point leaves me highly frustrated as there are so often no hints/clues where the game wants me to move to. This is so annoying in the parts where you need to navigate fast because you are hunted. Its constant try and error just to find out where you need to go and some reset points have you repeat too much of difficult parts lots of times due to this. Its so stressfull and super frustrating when there is a hunt where you dont even get time to recognize the pattern of the pursuer so you might - with skill - get a chance to escape. For those super patient and relaxed this game might prove great. I´ve somehow managed to finish it and story, game idea, sound and visuals are quite cool. But for real fun there is a big gap the bad mechanis and lacking support in guiding the player leave behind. So for me its a "yeah the game got a certain fascination and cool unusual idea, but after finishing i will uninstall Onde and dont know if I´ll ever feel the urge to play again in the future". Dont mind challenging gameplay but I can go without this level of stress and frustration. Oh and a tip for everyone trying to play on PC: forget about the mouse. It works poorly. Especially in those difficult speed navigating areas. Stick to the arrow keys on keyboard. Works a million times better as they seem to affect movements far more sensitive and reliable.
Playing through Onde was a treat for the senses. Visually it looked amazing and fun and colourful and the music fit perfectly. The movement did feel slow but I think that fits the style and intentions of the game, because it's not a game that's meant to be ran through, it's meant to be experienced fully. I will say though that I didn't find it all that relaxing and was kind of stressed playing it at times (like needing perfect timing during some platforming sections or you have to start the section over again) . It would have been nice if we could just chill and enjoy the vibes and art. The puzzles weren't difficult but engaging.

pretty good nice short game.
