Once upon a time a katamari rolled through both past and present. In this story across time, the adage endures: Let The Good Times Roll! Now onward through new worlds to roll up thy heart's desires and to restore the stars!

We Love Katamari, but in HD (we love is better tho)
This game is in my top five games ever. "I may be glazing, but what's a donut without it." ~Toko, 2025
the love i feel for this game is only mirrored by unspoken rage of the prince cleaning up the king's goof ups 11/10 soundtrack love the new area selection challenges feel less "whoa when did this become an esports trial" and more like the game just got a little harder. cousin customization? with a dj outfit unlock? the prince can show off his questionable decisions in style? it feels like playing the og katamari for the first time
I mean, who DOESNT love katamari?
This is one of my favorite game franchises of all time. It feels crazy that 1) we got a new full game like 15 years after Katamari Forever and 2) they still put in this much effort to make new levels with new mechanics and new cousins. And I love it! Yippee! Thank you, your highness!
Your standard Katamari game with lots of collectables and goals to keep the fun rolling.
Definitely the best Katamari game in the series, which is one of the best series about whatever it is
I started playing this game with the Switch release of KD Reroll, and PC Release of We Love Katamari Reroll on steam. KD Reroll I did not do much beyond the main levels, and then with We Love Katamari, I played for longer. With Once Upon a Katamari, I keep going back for more in 30 minute bursts to collect all the cousins, tokens, and gifts with more than 75% done as of now. Its fun, looks pretty, runs great. Its the same formula from the prior games, but feels as if I am fighting way less with the controls than the prior games. Music is cute. I'd overall recommend this game if you have had enjoyment with Katamari. One concern I did notice early on though is that certain levels can be trivialized by one solid magnet proc, which seems kinda counter-intuitive to what Katamari was about. I don't think it is that big of an issue, but it just seems a weird way to add some spice. I'd rather they maybe do a bit more with different kinds of levels instead of just adding power-ups in general, but again, minor issue.
Love it !!! I've been a fan of katamari damacy for a couple of years now, and I think they did very well with the new game. The ability to make your own cousin is fun, and power-ups like the magnet make things pretty satisfying. Overall, I would recommend this game for both new and old fans
Overall, beautiful. Doesn't break away from everything you love about Katamari. Stunning new soundtrack with themes from old songs. The downside is that there are some re-used objects and levels from previous games. But, brought to life with the frame rates and resolution of modern systems, this new installation strikes me as the perfect Katamari game. Simply too much to love and explore.
