A pleasant surprise for a good price of a game. While I don't play 2D platformers often I'm glad my friends recommended this title to me as it has some solid albeit basic mechanics. Shooting birds and vegetation is super satisfying, and ranged enemies can get extremely annoying, which on the other hand helps in trying to come up with creative ways of overcoming their challenge.
Appreciated playing with details there! Really cool game considering all the creative opponents and wonderful setting along with interesting storyline.

OmegaBot is a 2D Action Platformer where you play as robot who's trying to save the world from the former corrupted leaders and end the curse to bring back the peace to the world. The game offers multi stages filled with dangerous enemies and hidden secrets for you to discover around each corner. You character can shoot on all sides, vertically, upward and downward where shooting downwards can make you float in the air for few seconds, it will be useful in overcoming certain platforming challenges and while fighting the enemies. The mechanism is really nice where you get 2 bars for each weapon type you're going to unlock on your journey, the first bar is for the strong attacks and once you hit that second energy bar, there's a different shaped attack (supposedly weaker version) of the weapon you're holding. You can switch weapons during battles. Your energy will auto regen after your attacks are stopped, it will become very crucial in your decisions during a boss fight. There are many upgrades and costumes you can purchase will make your character more durable and help you survive tougher enemies later on in the game. The controls were pretty tight and flexible where I didn't have any issues during my playthrough. The music and OST were really nice and it was enjoyable to listen to while gaming for those few hours. Super chill vibe music for an amazing pixel art game. The boss battles were fun and challenging, mistakes can be crucial, getting hit can get you chunked pretty quick if you're not careful. Each boss will test your quick reaction in dodge those attacks being thrown at you or whether boss charging at you. Really nice boss designs so hats off to the Devs for this. It's really recommended and a must play if you like 2D Action Platformers and it's really an underrated gem. Overall Rating 10/10
It's an alright platformer, but as it keeps going it just starts to really feel like you're going through the motions. Each level feels a bit too long for how little there is to do in a lot of them, and enemies start becoming obnoxious towards the end. The only interesting thing it has going for it doesn't feel like it's fully realized in this game. You can stun things if you land enough hits on them, but it really only matters for bosses. And it can be fun to do on some bosses, but the issue is how fast it can tick down on some. With the final boss I felt like if I just got a bad pattern I had wasted all my previous shots. Honestly I think this would've been better if it was just a boss rush, though with some of the annoying minibosses I don't know if I think that fully would help. Dull levels, annoying enemies, and awkward controls really let this one down unfortunately.

Short but very nice platforming game.
