About
You're the Stranger, a mysterious bounty hunter on a mission to bag the ultimate prize. And you need that money like no one else because there is something very wrong with your health and the only way to fix it is a very costly operation. However the nature of your illness remains a secret and as you find out during the game, for a good reason.
In the dusty, undeveloped wastelands of Western Mudos, cantankerous townsfolk find their settlements besieged by belligerent outlaws. Along comes Stranger, a tall, dark and enigmatic bounty hunter with a mission to capture troublemakers and scoundrels and return them to civilized townships for incarceration.
But Stranger is keeping a secret and needs expensive surgery to survive. In his quest to earn enough Moolah, Stranger reluctantly accepts the ultimate bounty from the owner of the Mongo River and suddenly his adventure takes a very different turn.
Fire Live Ammo! Launch critters at your enemies. Distract them with Chippunks, encase them in Bolamite webbing, or destroy them with Stingbees and explosive bats.
Accept missions from the Bounty Store and talk to neurotic townsfolk to learn where your bounty can be found.

Rapaixxx. Game reprovado..

4K / 120fps / no screen tearing Self-Remaster Settings: Note I'm using an RTX 5070 for this, on Windows 11, fully updated Nvidia app and Gaming Ready drivers. Get the app Borderless Gaming on Steam. Get the Lossless Scaling app on Steam. The game crashes at 4k so in the popup for Settings before the game starts, set it to 1440p, Vsync OFF, Fullscreen OFF, Antialiasing OFF Set monitor in Windows OS Settings to 120 hz Nvidia Control Panel app: Display > Setup Gsync > Enabled for Windowed and Fullscreen mode Run the game via Steam, it'll have the app bar at the top since its not Borderless. Alt+Tab to the Borderless app, find Strangers Wrath in the list, right click and choose Make Borderless. Now the app is running in a forced borderless window mode, no menu bar. You can then start the Lossless Scaling app. Make sure Frame Gen is set to OFF. In the Scaling section, set it to LS1. Rendering: Sync Mode: VSYNC Gsync Support: ON Draw FPS: ON (this is the overlay in the upper left corner of the game) Click the Scale button in the upper right and Alt-Tab to the game The main menu is a video background running at 30 fps, so load into a saved game to get into the game engine to see the real FPS. If you don't see the 120 / 120 overlay, Alt-tab to the LS app and then back. You may have to choose Unscale and then Scale again in the LS app, then Alt-Tab to the game again. Once you see 120 / 120 in the upper left, you've confirmed its running at 120 solid, with the 1440p upscaled to 4k if you monitor is 4k. I had screen tearing issues if the LS app Rendering didn't have Vsync enabled. You can't use the game Vsync or the Scaling app won't work right and thus you can't boost the 1440p to 4k. The Nvidia Control Panel Vsync option didn't work either. Having the LS app do the Vsync eliminated screen tearing finally. Make sure your settings match mine and you'll have butter smooth gameplay at 4K/120 with no screen tearing, upscaled from 1440p. I can finally play through this game and have it looking smooth and sharp, thanks to AI helping me work through the tech issues to get it running far better than the 480p/30 OG Xbox console version released early 2005. Also, yes the game is good, not amazing but definitely worth a few bucks on sale, especially with the 4K/120 working great now.
Very good graphics, wild west looking atmosphere and fun gameplay. Also, while you go through the story, it has an insane plot twist. I've beaten it on xbox two times already. Only issue on pc is that the game crashes sometimes and I have to lower the anti analysing and run the game in windowed mode to avoid all that, idk why. Overall, I like it very much. 9/10
Great game. Amazing characters. Fun!!
Really fun old shoot-em up Xbox game from days of yore. The graphics have held up surprisingly well for being a 20 year old game. It can get a little repetitive with the missions, but what can you expect for an Oddworld game? Hunt down bounties and knock em out with improvised weapons, turn em in for moolah and get some upgrades. And don't feel bad for checking out walkthroughs, some of the missions don't make a lot of sense. 8.5 thudslugs/10
Molto divertente, i giochi di oggi non sono più come questi dell'infanzia.
