About
Octohill is a casual ski resort simulator where you can try to build and manage your own resort on one of the countless mountain maps. You will be drawing trails and terraforming slopes, managing finances, transportation, construction and maintenance, but the game main focus is on careful planning.
In Octohill, you are building your ski resort from scratch. You will be choosing best spots on the slopes, prepare terrain and mark areas for the trails, connect them to ski lifts and public roads and provide all the services your visitors look for. With intuitive building mechanics and fixed grid layout you may relax and focus on planning and creativity.
Your resort will attract very few visitors in the beginning, but as you cater to their needs your reputation will rise, allowing more people on your slopes and bigger incomes in your bills. Every skier has their own preferences and skills, keep that in mind when planning another expansion as you need to keep your resort profitable and your visitors satisfied.
Octohill comes with several default maps based on the real world locations such as French Alps or Rocky Mountains, which you can use to recreate one of the famous resorts. But if you get bored with them, you may also try highly customizable procedurally generated maps, or even use your own heightmap image.

This is a good ski resort simulator! It's fun, challenging, and rewarding. It has has an economic system, analytics, good integration of NPCs interacting with the resort, food/beverage, ski patrol, ticket sales, parking/transportation, lifts, operation management such as snow cat grooming, ski trail design, and much more. I think this game is better than other ski resort simulators. It has an actual economic system, unlike Skitopia. There is a lot you can do, keeping you entertained for hours. You design and build your ski runs, and they have different difficulties based on the terrain. There are many different types of lifts, from surface lifts to high speed gondolas and trams. What I love about this game is the creative control to create your own ski resort, and the ability to manage it. You're never done building, as you can always make changes and improvements. You have to figure out how to bring in more guests if your numbers are low, or grow your resort if there are too many guests and overcrowded. You're constantly monitoring guest satisfaction and trying to improve it. I think that makes a great ski resort simulator game! If you loved the old Sim City 2000 from back in the day, you'll love this game. It has an old feel, as objects are placed on tiles in a grid pattern. That is, unfortunately, the biggest downfall to this game. While the gameplay is fun, the graphics are not great. It looks like a game from the 90s. The terrain is also made of individual tiles, which is very limiting and looks terrible. This makes it hard to design and connect ski trails, place lifts and other objects. It's the only thing that is holding back this game from being incredible. Overall, this is a great game, a lot of fun, and I'd recommend playing. If they can make the terrain look smooth and connected, it would be even better.
incroyable this is very very nice
really nice and for me one of a kind game, once you get used to the terraform mechanics this is so fun!
The learning curve for this game is difficult. The wiki guide isn't great and it could use some polishing. However there is a great game underneath. Would love to see some shops / additional resort items added. Better terrain park features and smooth run control. Otherwise its a great little game
I love this game! The learning curve is steep and it needs some polishing and quality of life improvements (dev's working on it). But, for sure, it is the best skiing area building game out there!
If you are going to buy this, you are buying this for future enjoyment. It's in a rough state right now. But there is a real diamond underneath it!
Takes time till you learn. But at the end its fun game
不好玩,汉化太差,图像全是像素,操作复杂。
Its not interesting game .Economy in this game is stupid. You cant change any price or anything.
