Complete ripoff for $10. It feels like the dev wanted to make a good game, but put no effort into it
Да. Если бы убрать пиксельхантинг в поиске предметов, было бы оч здорово. Скримеры добротные
Short horror game that begins with an interesting premise but quickly unravels due to frustrating visual and gameplay bugs—many of which can be avoided if you play it all in one sitting. The game kicks off in familiar indie horror territory: you're dropped into a dark forest with no context, no goal, and only available path is forward. While the brief intro does little to set the stage, you eventually uncover that your journey leads back to your childhood home to close a haunting chapter from your family’s past. The controls follow the standard first-person formula: movement, mouse interaction, running, and crouching. While crouching is almost never necessary, the ability to run is appreciate, especially in a genre notorious for its slow pacing. A surprisingly decent flashlight is available from the start and comes with unlimited battery life, which removes the typical flashlight micromanagement found in similar titles. Interaction is basic: open a door, slide a drawer, and occasionally pick up a key item. Unmarked drawers and doors contrast with interactable objects, which glow with a white outline, but only when you're close and the item is currently relevant. If it’s not needed yet, it blends into the environment and appear as part of the world. The only extra bits to explore are notes that shed light on the game’s backstory. The game starts outside, but the forest and barn path are short-lived and heavily gated by invisible walls. Logical movement is restricted; you’ll often see places you should be able to go, only to be rerouted by artificial boundaries. However, the main part takes inside the house so you quickly forget about it. From the outside, the house appears utterly abandoned: boarded windows, nailed doors, and no sign of life. But once inside, it's oddly pristine. Despite some scattered trash, the home still has power, no cobwebs, and is filled with valuables such as plates, computer and TV. Odd for a house that appears to have been abandoned for years. Once inside, the game becomes a traditional horror walking sim with item hunting and event-triggered progression. Doors won't open until a scripted moment occurs, usually involving a ghostly family member jump scare. These include a zombified father, a ghostly mother, and a talking doll representing your unborn sister, who guides you along the way. While these elements deliver some effective scares, they rely too heavily on repetition. There’s no threat and you can’t die so the horror loses impact quickly. The full experience wraps up in under two hours, assuming everything goes smoothly. Unfortunately, there’s a major save bug that ruins a lot of fun. After saving and returning later, the game forgot that the power was already turned on. Lights stopped working, switches asked to restore power (again), and all jump scares reset. While progression remained technically possible, the experience isn’t great because you might get stuck due to doors becoming locked and unlocked. Another glaring issue is a broken attic area. The ceiling is missing, allowing you to see through the house—and worse, occasionally fall through it onto the roof. Optimization is also inconsistent: the outdoor area runs smoothly on high settings, but once inside, textures become muddy and low-res unless you dial down to medium or low settings, which weirdly fixes the visuals. And to top it off, one achievement appears to be broken.
Before you read my review: The developers way of reacting to criticism is great and i definitely WILL change my Review as soon as the game is fixed and i was able to finish it. Props to you, Arkuda Inc. With a little bit of work you might make this game truely shine. And thats why i edited my review. For me the game is completely unplayable due to an overwhelming number of bugs i encountered. Progressing to the end is impossible for me because many events trigger multiple times and often in the wrong order. This might be because i was able to pick up an item through a wall which bugged out the order of events. This lead to doors being locked that should remain open. These events are meant to lock the doors temporarily and later unlock them, but if they lock without the unlocking events triggering again, you’re permanently stuck. The main character has such a calm voice that you almost fall asleep listening. Zero emotions. Just calm. No matter the situation. Thats the only thing i would change gameplay wise. Even though i respect the developers reesponse, i cant recommend the game in its current state. Its going to be nice as soon as its fixed.
This game was excellent. The mechanics are difficult at first but once you learn the story and jumpscares are worth it. Good content to post

Here are the review from the viewer > little girl very cute > jumpscare was good >very good for the jumpscare effect on point 9/10 > alot of jumpscare until I splash so much water > family support is important, don't let depression win > No leh I think jumpscare not so many > the game really make us lost our soul also > story was good tho! I love the story
This game was pretty good. It had a good story to follow throughout the game and the ending I didn't see coming. The visuals looked great except for the very beginning in the woods. The game is so dark there and to see well I had to turn the gamma way up which just made it super bright on top of dark colors. After I got inside the house it looked great though! The sounds where good as well as the overall atmosphere was great. I do recommend playing this game if your a fan of horror or indie games. It took me an hour to beat without ever seeing it before. If I played again or had watched someone play first it would be more like a 40 minute play through. There are a few things that stood out to me that I didn't like but they where small to medium and didn't effect the overall game play too much. The first was the jump scares where good, at first. At a certain point it felt like there was a jump scare every 2 minutes like clock work every time I entered a room or went down a hallway. After awhile I wasn't even phased by it because I was fully expecting them. I think if they took 2/3's pf them out the ones left would have a great effect. I like exploration games and games where I can find a lot of items and this game had a plethora of drawers, closets, cupboards and such to open with 99% empty or having objects you couldn't interact with. That felt disappointing and got to the point it was annoying. Again something there should have been 2/3's less of. Lastly a bulk of the story's background info was in form of written notes left around the house. I love a good story in a game but I don't like to read as much as I like to listen to it. This is kind of to each there own and maybe the devs felt the opposite way about it which is ok. Overall I give this game a 4/5 stars and the devs seem to have the potential to make some longer AA games in the future. This game is worth $10 and if you see it on sale you will be missing out not to buy it on the spot. You can see my play through here if you want. https://youtu.be/Tr03kL5CGOY
Sadly as much as I would love to recommend this I can't. You can see later in the game that there is a real attempt at creating a story HOWEVER, the engagement with the story is lost quickly as you hear the ai voicing. For the love of god to all indie devs please stop using ai for voicing. There should also be a way to see the current objective whether its on the pause screen or you press a key to bring it up. I mainly play indie games, especially indie horror and I had great hopes for this game only to be let down. I do however look forward to playing more games by this dev. I can see them building an actual cohesive story one day. Please compliment the story with actual voice actors in the future.
O jogo foi muito bom, os gráficos eram bons, assim como a história. foi um excelente jogo muito bom mesmo.
