Octohill is a casual ski resort simulator where you can try to build and manage your own resort on one of the countless mountain maps. You will be drawing trails and terraforming slopes, managing finances, transportation, construction and maintenance, but the game main focus is on careful planning.
In Octohill, you are building your ski resort from scratch. You will be choosing best spots on the slopes, prepare terrain and mark areas for the trails, connect them to ski lifts and public roads and provide all the services your visitors look for. With intuitive building mechanics and fixed grid layout you may relax and focus on planning and creativity.
Your resort will attract very few visitors in the beginning, but as you cater to their needs your reputation will rise, allowing more people on your slopes and bigger incomes in your bills. Every skier has their own preferences and skills, keep that in mind when planning another expansion as you need to keep your resort profitable and your visitors satisfied.
Octohill comes with several default maps based on the real world locations such as French Alps or Rocky Mountains, which you can use to recreate one of the famous resorts. But if you get bored with them, you may also try highly customizable procedurally generated maps, or even use your own heightmap image.

I really dislike the game, the concept is cool. But I find the game extremely hard, just to build a warehouse you need to flatten the terrain, pray that the terrain is the same level as the road. And the terrain tools are really bad. I build a lift, build a slope. And then the terrain is really messed up, and the terrain tools aren't going to help you. Also the camera is really choppy. It's not fast enough, needs to be more smooth. Takes 5000 hours just to zoom in. Have had a great time getting into this new game the past week. Great concept and active dev in discord.
It's the best Steam snow and resort building game I've seen, but I'm looking forward to more updates because of what's coming.
You can feel that its a Passion project! The Graphics might be simple but it gives the a lot of charm! The whole game is Fun the Underlying simulation seems to make sense, and overall it feels really neat! AND as far as I can tell the game is still in active development
I want to like this game so much but just creating simple slopes is too challenging right now. Gotta fix the slope creation tool to let us dive into it.

Love the concept and the style - it's definitely a chill game that has some depth. Feels a bit early access but is fairly priced for the content. Highly recommend following the tutorial (maybe even twice) because some of the mechanics with slope building are pretty specific. It makes sense once you get the hang of it, and the estimator/auto slope tool is also a great way to bypass some of the more confusing aspects. It runs well and seems reasonably optimized. Eagerly waiting on future updates and for this game to be rounded out a bit more!
Awesome game. A bit tricky the first few minutes to learn the terraforming mechanics, but super fun once you get the hang of it.
What a neat small ski resort builder! Planning your resort with lifts, runs, staff buildings, hotels etc. and watching as it comes alive is a lot of fun already. Hope this get's more updates and get's the attention it deserves. Look's promising!
The game's fun, and the tutorial is pretty good except for the fact that they don't tell you that lifts can't be placed on trails. There are a few issues with the game, however: Sometimes roads, even when placed on slopes, stay flat. Public roads can be deleted too easily (at least give a warning), as they allow people to you know, actually reach the resort. Visitors will try to go on a trail right after it has been deleted. Even with multiple of the same lifts going to the same place, visitors will only go to one, rendering the others useless. Other than that the game is really fun, [h1] PLEASE TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/h1] 10$ is a steal
